Question of the Day
I start a new job today, so in honor of that: If you could do any job within the Disney company, what would it be?
Congratulations on the new job, PerGron! Sana all may job (rough trans.: I hope everyone has/gets a job.).

I think I'd love to be a show writer/producer for Imagineering. I've always been fascinated by Disney storytelling (especially in the theme parks) and research, so it's natural that I'd want to go in that direction. I'm actually going to deal with that as soon as I begin with the Phantom Manor ReHaunting!AU project I've been teasing. I can already hear the American Victoriana research calling to me...

Congrats PerGron! I hope you have a great first day!

I have always wanted to work at Pixar or Disney animation and make movies, shorts, TV shows, etc. It would be so cool to develop my own animated movie one day.

So, I have some inspiration to do some Imagineering, but the thing is, it's not for something Disney or theme park related. Specifically, a stage adaptation of a music album (Märchen by Sound Horizon). Would anyone take offence if I post my ideas for it in this thread? I don't think it warrants it's own thread (especially since it feels kind of off-topic with the rest of the forum) and while I did consider making a general Imagineering thread like @DashHaber did, I feel like I wouldn't use it enough to justify it's existence. Hope this isn't a bother to y'all.

Here's a video from the album's concert, if you're interested (complete with English subtitles):

Please by all means share your thoughts here. I promise you that no one will take offense.

I Don’t See Any Reason Anyone Would Find It Intrusive, & For Me Personally, I Only Watched Like 6 Seconds Of The Video But Anything Based Off Of This Album Must Be Good!
I start a new job today
Congratulations!

Walk-Around Character, Not Because I Think It Would Be The Most Favorable Job In The Company, But Because Of The Stories I‘d Have To Tell (Jungle Cruise Skipper Also Works).

Wandavision has its own theme song. My day has been made

Let’s just say that I’m even more confused than before 😂

Here’s a few things that aren’t very clear about the show that have me asking questions:
1. There’s a trailer where it seems that SWORD is attempting to locate and help Wanda through an old fashioned radio. This trailer makes it seem like SWORD (the people in the Hazmat suits?) can come and go as they please.
2. There’s a trailer where Agatha Harkness says “Can we do the scene again” as if she is aware that she is on a TV show but another trailer makes things seem like she doesn’t know. Is this a real TV show with a director?
3. Is Vision an illusion? Or did Wanda create an entirely new living thing with the memories of Vision. Does Wanda have control of what she’s created. Does she remember her old life?

I’m thinking way too much into this.

I’ll try to answer these the best I can.

1. The main theory I have and have seen is that Wanda created a new reality where she and Vision live a happy life. The SWORD agents are able to go through, but they have to figure out new ways to get through. In the trailers you can see that huge red wall that looks staticky which, I think, is Wanda’s reality. As for the person in hazmat suit, I’m positive that’s Monica. She had to get through the sewers because they can’t break down the wall.

2. My guess is that Wanda pulled in random people and they break her reality sometimes. For example the woman crying in the Halloween episode. Another version of this is when Monica shows up at Wanda’s home. Wanda doesn’t know who Monica is because she wasn’t initially in Wanda’s reality. I think they are making it seem like a TV show just to fit the theme, but it’s more like they have to make it perfect for Wanda’s reality.

3. I cant really answer this one as this one relates more to the comics and I haven’t read them. My guess is that Wanda created Vision in this reality and is pushing away all the older, bad memories.

Those are my theories and I can be totally wrong. I hope that didn’t make you even more confused lmao

Here’s my personal theory

Wanda’s created this reality but she doesn’t know when or how. It’s almost like she was unaware that she even did this. SWORD has been sending people via things like the sewers to gain knowledge as to how Wanda did this like when we see that one guy yell at Wanda asking her when she moved. Eventually, Monica Rambeu is sent but loses her memory and is blasted out by Wanda after she discovers that she’s SWORD and gains superpowers.

I love seeing people's personal projects! I think the hype thread is perfect for random stuff like that!
(I hope other people feel the same way since I share personal stuff all the time lol)

Congrats on the new job!

Great Movie Ride Tour Guide/Cowboy.

Realistic goal: I want to be the Leader (what they call manager) at a small shop or cluster of small snack type places. Perhaps Main Street North (Plaza Restaurant, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, and Starbucks) where I used to be a cast member in the ice cream shop. Somewhere I can make some magic, but not have to deal with the crazy stress that comes with super in demand stuff like most attractions.

You have my support for sure lol

Thanks everyone for the congratulations!

For me, it may come as a huge shock to many, but I want to be an animal caretaker at Animal Kingdom!!

More specifically though, an education keeper who gets to educate the public, so like the keepers who bring animals out at Rafiki’s Planet Watch and do the demonstrations or to be the cast member speaker at Up! A Great Bird Adventure!

Though, once I graduate (I took a, eh, 4 year? Gap year.) I plan on moving to Florida and trying to get a job on the Wild Africa Trek tour (should it survive) and work my way up from there
