Ya I mixed the two up. To be fair, there was a whole mix up with those two last year.Hoop Dee Doo is still open. Mickey's Backyard BBQ, on the other hand...

Also, let's give a memoriam to the disney attractions we lost last year:
Illuminations
I'll have to check it out the previous season while some of my favorite books the episodes felt kinda mundane, i forgot that this season started! So, watched the entire last season of A Series of Unfortunate Events last night. So good! They made some changes from the books, but all ones I think improved it overall. Though some things did feel rushed towards the end. Book lengths got longer, but episode lengths stayed the same (or even got shorter in some cases). But small problems in an amazing final season of an amazing show!
Watching it made for a Very Fun Day.
@spacemt354 I know you love the books too, have you gotten a chance to watch it yet? What did you think!
If season 2 felt mundane, then the new season may not super change that. Visually, the show peaked in season 1, but I think this season flows a lot faster and has better pacing than season 2 and 1. Even if the last book felt rushedI'll have to check it out the previous season while some of my favorite books the episodes felt kinda mundane, i forgot that this season started!
I'd be most looking forward to the visual style of stuff like the Slippery Slope
At least there's still rides! : DSo, as far as I can tell, there will be zero parades and a closed castle covered in scaffolding when I'm in Disneyland lol.
I guess that's what I get for planning my trip so far in advance (less than a month in advance). Silly me for expecting major refurbishments to park icons to be announced more than three weeks ahead of time or for there not to be multi week gaps with no parade for no reason.
Still super excited, just a little salty about stuff I learned or were announced today.
Update: Fantasmic is going down for refurbishments my second night there. World of Color is still down. No nighttime parade. And I think no fireworks or projection shows. Which means 3 out of my 4 days there will have no Disney nighttime entertainment. So, as far as I can tell, there will be zero parades and a closed castle covered in scaffolding when I'm in Disneyland lol.
