Disney owns the rights to Arrested Development's first 3 seasons.

Seasons 4 and 5 really soured the cast's view of the filming it partly because Ron Howard became very difficult to work with and the shoots became a nightmare. Which then raised tensions among the cast. Especially with Jeffrey Tambor or was growing into more and more of an egotistical jerk as time went on.

So, forget Ron Howard. Make him just producer/narrator but get the Russos (who have a great working relationship with Disney and seem to be a joy to work with and were instrumental in the success of the first three seasons) to actually be showrunners.

The Russos already have Easter Eggs implying that Arrested Development exists in the Marvel Universe.

So...

Marvel's Arrested Development

A show detailing how the cast and characters of Arrested Development's lives have changed since the Attack on New York in 2012. Mostly ignoring seasons 4 and 5 for legal reasons.
George Bluth | Arrested Development Wiki | Fandom

George Bluth is in a SHIELD prison for trying to sell and Infinity Stone and Citari artifacts to Nebula (Important to note: He never had any alien stuff and thought he could pretend like some of george Michael's old toys in the attic were real alien tech and by the time Nebula realized it was a scam she'd be half way across the galaxy). That keeps the actor away from the main cast and puts him back in prison like Season 1 which was the best role for him in the show. Plus, Coulson could cameo interacting with him.
In avengers infinity war, you can see Tobias funkë from arrested development in the background : MovieDetails

Tobias gets mistaken for someone in Nebula's alien crew since he just blue himself and gets caught up in a space adventure he has no interest in and barely is aware is happening. He mostly thinks he got cast in some sort of guerilla flash mob theater type thing. Eventually winding up in one of the Collector's cages (setting up his cameo in Infintiy War)
A Sorcerer Supreme named GOB : arresteddevelopment

Gob thinks that the best way to launch his magic career is to have people think that he is a hero himself. And so, with the help of George Michael and often Buster, he keeps trying to stage things to make him look like an Avenger or showing up right after big battles from the movies to try to take credit. After Doctor Strange appears he tries to break into the Sanctum and when that doesn't work he just gets a fake goatee and tries to claim that he is the Sorcerer Supreme and will save the day with his illusions! Buy his VHS tape of his illusions! But then runs into an actual villain and the real Strange has to save him.
Are George Michael & Maeby Really Cousins On 'Arrested Development'? It's Almost OK To Be Rooting For Them

Maeby is scamming her way into internships where she does nothing at both Stark Industries and Hammer Tech. Much like her movie studio job but this time with lazer guns. Of course, she gets way over her head and accidentally inspires Mysterio to become evil. Eventually shield takes not of her and Black Widow (or a less expensive cameo) recruits Maeby for her infiltration skills as well as to recover all the intel she's gotten from all the family's various plots in this show. She trades all she knows as leverage to get George released and get someone to rescue Tobias (Someone can ask Capt. Marvel post-snap). Thus tying everything back together in the end.

Another idea:

Community the Movie

Yvette Nicole Brown says the 'Community' movie is happening – Film Daily

Streaming is becoming more and more important and Disney is looking to expand. With Spiderman, they already have a good relationship with Sony. And Sony doesn't have the clout needed right now t launch their own service. So, get a deal going with Sony for a streaming partnership for the expanded Disney+/Hulu/Star.

One of the first big project to help launch it would be a Community Movie. Thus fulfilling the long awaited prophecy of #SixSeasonsAndAMovie

Plus, more Russos.

Men in Black and Ghostbusters could also be great IP to use in this deal. Same with Jumanji. And the ability to add the spider-man movies to the mcu collection on disney+

Firefly and Buffy are also both Disney now and perfect picks for revivals/reboots/spin offs.

Disney+ found inspiration in the success of The Mandalorian, and decided to invest in its next streaming success; the adventures of Indiana Jones. Here, we follow a college age Indiana Jones as he balances hunting for a degree and priceless treasures with a blossoming romance with Marion Ravenwood. This will hopefully be a more successful version of "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles" (which I've never seen, but guess I have to check out now)!

I had this idea since the Oswald prompt, but since that was about theme parks and not Disney+, I held off on proposing it until now.

Oswald's Toon Fighters

Toontown is a very chaotic place. So, naturally, not even Toontown's golden boy Mickey can keep up with everything. Fortunately, his brother Oswald has formed his own crime-fighting squad to deal with the problem Mickey can't get to. Unfortunately, most of the other crime-fighters are too busy, so he has to settle with a bunch of no-name toons who are all wildly unqualified in one way or another. Walt help us all.

Tone would be similar to Animaniacs, but slightly more serialized and with less modern pop culture/political references (not a knock against Animaniacs, I just don't think modern pop culture references or political jokes fit Disney). Characters are mix of obscure preexisting characters and new characters. Only new character idea I have right now is a robot dog who's a pure ray of sunshine, but has zero experience in the real world, leading to having no idea on how to social and causing massive amounts of property damage.

(Before you ask, no, that last character is not a self-insert. The robot doggo is a certified Good Boi while my robot wolf persona is... god, I don't even know anymore.)

Keeping up with the Kroakdasians

05bafdeb6f69bf5f92309ecedd556e00a12e5003.gifv

This Disney+ Original series features the return of the popular "Frog Lady" from The Madandolrian, and focuses on her day to day life of being a brand new mother of 20 while maintaining the homefront. This show will be a mockumentary style sitcom ala Modern Family, and will be entirely in "Frog Lady"'s native language. This ribbeting series will debut this swinter in February 31st, and will have a climatic season finale where we find out that Grogu is in fact the father! So tune in this swinter and fall in love with the Kroakdasians they're dieing to give you a hug, and bring you into their own family.

I was wondering where I put that.

Propose a new Disney, Marvel, Pixar, or Star Wars movie/series for Disney+/theaters
A continuation of The Sword in the Stone, as either a series of films, or a TV series. It would follow Arthur as he adjusts to being king, with Merlin and Archimedes by his side, whilst introducing prominent figures from the Arthurian legends like Guinevere, Lancelot, Morgana, etc.

Day 14

Today is Disney Investor Day! At 1:30 PM PST, Disney will be live streaming for 4 hours about new things coming to Disney+ and theaters. So, in honor of that, you are going to create something new for Disney, Marvel, Pixar, or Star Wars!

Black girl magic arguing regina hall GIF - Find on GIFER

Your task today is to…

Propose a new Disney, Marvel, Pixar, or Star Wars movie/series for Disney+/theaters

Some reminders:
-You can keep it simple! You don’t have to make a full blown 10 page document on the ride. You can do a couple sentences and/or a few pictures. Whatever you feel comfortable with

-Don’t be scared to share your ideas! Every idea is a good idea

-Have fun with it! Don’t be afraid to think outside the box.

Now get to thinkin’!
The nice thing about Marvel is that there are so many comics under its name. Seriously, so much potential for shows or movies. In fact, there's one that I think would be a perfect choice for a fun Disney+ MCU series.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl

clean.jpg

When some people get superpowers, they might freak out. Not Doreen Green, ever since she developed a whole set of squirrel-based powers! She can leap far, possesses "knuckle spikes" that help her climb, and she can communicate with squirrels (like her pink bow-wearing squirrel pal Tippy Toe). She even has a big bushy squirrel tail! Well, when evil comes calling courtesy of a rebranding of Advanced Idea Mechanics under the leadership of George Tarleton (better known to comics fans as MODOK), Doreen's ready to use her incredible squirrel powers, clever thinking, and big heart to show how goodness will always be unbeatable.

A Phantom Manor-inspired mild horror live action series or movie. Something like "The Secrets of Ravenswood Manor".
It would expand on the lore of Thunder Mesa and the Ravenswood family
Very good idea! I am surprised Disney hasn't done something like this before.

Pixar Tales
An anthology featuring Pixar characters
You predicted Pixar Popcorn lmao

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E is the iconic character we are working with today. Last month, Disney released The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse Disney+. They are very funny shorts and have lots of homages and cameos to Disney rides and characters. Today, you are going to do just that.

The episodes do air in pairs so if you would like to do 2, you can, but it isn’t required. Also, if you haven't seen the show then just think of the regular Mickey Mouse shorts, but funnier and more throwbacks to old rides and IPs.

Some reminders:

Of Mice and Manliness

(Came up with the pun first and worked backwards)

Mickey and Donald see Minnie and Daisy fawning over some Thor (Who exists in this universe since he's a Disney character!). So, they start to feel insecure. Spend the whole short trying to be super stereotypically extra masculine and manly in increasingly ridiculous and over the top ways. Before eventually realizing that the girls like them for who they are in a cheesy wrap up with a positive message. But mostly this is all an excuse for visual gags in a gym and in a bar and with sports.
