Oil and minerals are catching up, but I cant quite think of anything as big as religion as being an excuse behind killing each other. Still thats the point, more death more business for your god whoever he she they may be, and dont forget the opportunity of the clerics to manipulate /control the living.
But hey Mels movies just based on a fable anyway.

Still... I'd think it would be pretty funny if they had behind the scenes footage of Jesus hanging out at the Craft Services table... eatin a doughnut... and smokin a cig, getting all huffy and running back to his trailer as he waits until the next shot is ready. :lol: :lookaroun

Pretty amazing accomplishment for this little pic.....
- 10th week in release
- 1832 sites
- Brought in another 1.5 million last weekend
- Total gross to date: $366.7 million!
It's actually getting ready to begin another round of showings in this area in the "second-run" houses. The "Coming Soon" signs for it went up yesterday.
With the DVD and many foreign releases still to come, Passion, as they say in the industry, STILL HAS LEGS!!!

Hey! If you all go to hell I'll be on my lonesome! You see, as I don't believe in God (or any diety for that matter), I can't believe in Hell as it's part of the same package deal. Therefore I can't join you there!
Just heard that they did record a commentary for the DVD, but it was in Aramaic and the unions could not come up with a deal on translating them. :lol:
