The Park Formerly Known as Disney's Hollywood Studios? Yep ...

 I would die if they got rid of TOT and RnR

LOL I omitted those (and TSMM) purposefully - those are all headlines I doubt they would close. But the ones I mention are all fair game for elimination. If I recall, there were reports that Ariel was closing (due to her getting a ride in MK; Beauty and Beast is closing to get a new show). I will be livid if Fantasmic! closes - if for anything it needs an update like Disneyland.

They should remove the Disney part of the name too. It was only added when MGM was removed. It's redundant.

All this talk is why they should go with a completely generic name with a vague or loose theme. Then there is no need for the back and forth on what fits.

So what do you think would fit?

I honestly don't know. I'm actually really confused with the direction of the park, and the name doesn't help. "Hollywood" is in the name, but only certain areas of the park have to do with Hollywood. I understand DHS used to have production going on, so I understand the whole backlot tour thing, but it needs to go if production has stopped. I'm confused as to why there's a Pixar area in the park, as the real Pixar Studios is nowhere near Hollywood. I'm just overall confused.

It won't be called Florida Adventure. Please stop. They want to fix the park. It is simple. Star Wars Land, Carsland, Frozen land(all with a mix of C,D,E ticket attractions, E's can be thrilling but the C,D's need to be rides the whole family can enjoy) update GMR, Indiana Jones Adventure(yeah, I said it, it has been an obvoius fix for years)replace BatB and VoTLM with new shows, all of this with updated dining and exclusive unique merchandise.

Will they do something like that?

Please, lets be real we are talking about Bob Iger's Disney Holding Company.

Yes it is all rather confusing. Whatever they choose as a new name I hope they stick and full on run with it for a complete overhaul. The park desperately needs help.

It doesn't matter to me if they change the DHS name. The park barely has anything to do with Hollywood anyways. DHS is in need of major help now, and needs an overhaul no doubt. In fact, there's only a few attractions at DHS that I would actually want to keep: ToT, RNRC, Star Tours, and Fantasmic. Anything else, I wouldn't really mind if they got rid of. I say, bring back the MGM name! Who's with me?;)
