The Park Formerly Known as Disney's Hollywood Studios? Yep ...

I could see Disney working their magic by incorporating the "Hollywoodland" sign into the farthest ridge of the Cadillac Mountain Range. ;) It would require a gradual increase in follage and a design that directs our focus to that particular spot. A few strategically placed palm-trees would work. Of course all that hinges on us getting a Carsland clone.
Or it could be Nomanisan or the Tepuis from Up and we get a more developed Pixar PLace with multiple properties and not just stealing DCA's killer app.

I like how your mind works. If only! I''ll more likely anticipate Disney xeroxing attractions unfortunantly. Pixar Place need some love regardless of hypothetical mountain range. An Up attraction would be epic!

Yea, since there are about 10 of us that ever saw the original. The only ones that have that association are those that still call it MGM, because, heaven forbid that anyone should have to adapt to any change. The numbers of people that go to DHS that still think of it as a working studio is so small that it probably doesn't even register on any scale.

Fair point. It was nicer (imo) back when it was a studio.

We visited DHS today. Our day started with a visit to One Man's Dream. Throughout the day, I reflected on the words of the film and thought about how DHS appears as a bankrupt/struggling studio. There are no actual sets. Nothing is really in production. Attraction dialogue/text and cast member speak is hollow. Aside from Hollywood & Sunset, there is no longer cohesive theming or a storyline. Having the word Studios in the moniker is both inaccurate and misleading.

Personally, as DHS inspired DCA, DCA should now inspire DHS. Christen it Disney Hollywood Adventure, acknowledge Walt's Hollywood in the front and showcase the film IPs throughout the park. Ink & Paint will never return, so turn it into All Star Movies and be done with it.

And the concerns about the stage losing a backdrop are silly because the Chinese Theater would be just as good a backdrop for those shows, possibly even better as it'd come off as more of a big Hollywood Party
I think people don't mind it blocking the hat so much, but blocking the Chinese Theater would be more annoying.

Sometimes a thread needs a respectable death. This is good information, now lock it down and let it die gracefully with honor and not another 100 pages of folks trying to rename DHS or argue about the Theme integrity of the place.

Nah, no-one's forced to read a thread, it's not like threads are some precious resource we have to conserve. If people want to enjoy speculating and coming up with comedy names, what harm can it do?

Disney's Movie Land. Disney's Movie Park. Disney's Movie Adventure. Disney's Movie Kingdom. Take your pick. Whichever sounds best. Then they can include anything from a movie or involving movie making and it fits the theme.
I personally think these are tacky names.
