Hatbox and The Bride(Well, Constance, now..) always did belong together!! I would bid for that Hatbox Figure, but you KNOW it's gonna get outta hand :brick:! I will just have to settle for my Big Figures instead, I guess..

Thats something they made up for the new version. When a new team of imagineers take over in the future they can just as easily remove that story element.

Notice anything?:animwink:

yea shes holding the nose.

You know my biggest complain with the redo of HM is that the portraits in the attic are real photographs but the strech room portraits are paintings. I think they should either both be paintings or both be real portraits (although if the strech room was real pictures it may be too disturbing for some people)

Its just kind of jarring that the Attic is real world based but the rest of the ride has kind of an animated whimsical look.

Apparently when they made the ride there was some debate as to how scary it should be versus how kid-friendly is should be. I suppose by splitting it up like that, both sides kind of won.

The stretch room portraits are all based on husbands Constance murdered

You can see the 3 guys standing on top of each other in the attic scene each in there own individual portrait.

So George was the only one killed with a hatchet?

See this is where it gets confusing. The faces in the attic portrait were designed to look like the Stretching room people (including Constance) in the stretching room it shows the people dieng in different ways (except for George who very clearly was axed). However in the attic, it insinuates that all the grooms got there heads choped off so perhaps its just a coincidence they all look the same?

Also, does that mean George IS the hatbox ghost?

All will be revealed in 2 weeks

So, I'm curious about something. I have heard a rumor about a new Indiana Jones attraction at WDW in the future. I realize that the new Star Tours redo is the big news, but you rarely hear any Indiana Jones news. Is the Indiana Jones rumor unfounded then? Just wondering.

I've heard the rumors and it was considered at one point years ago. However, if your hearing it now the rumor is unfounded.

I'm sure at some point in the future Lucas will want to tinker with the Indiana Jones attractions and possibly add one to Orlando. But its a nonexistant priority at this time.

Yes all of Constance's husbands are depicted except the Marquis.
Here's the Stretching portrait.

The actual sequence in which Constance married is'
Ambrose- 1869
Frank-1872
The Marquis-1873
Reginald- 1874
George- 1875
George was one of the owners of The Haunted Mansion as a matter of fact the background for the George and Constance portrait is a concept rendering of the Ballroom for the Haunted Mansion Movie.

And what of the girl on the high wire?

The girl on the High wire does not have an official name.
The guy on the dynamite is named Alexander Nitrokoff.
As for the concept of George being the Hatbox Ghost I don't think so. The Hatbox Ghost is her un-revealed 6th husband.

:D I would love to have a Kayoako Saeki animatronic appear in the stairs portion. It would definitely become a "Haunted Mansion" after all.

I had assumed that she's Constance at a young age and the high wire symbolizes that shes a dangerous girl to play with. Although when I proposed this over on Miceage they said no so who knows. I don't think WDI has said anything about the high wire girl one way or the other.
