I had assumed that she's Constance at a young age and the high wire symbolizes that shes a dangerous girl to play with. Although when I proposed this over on Miceage they said no so who knows. I don't think WDI has said anything about the high wire girl one way or the other.

Ahhh...good theory...

OK...Do we have a place where all this is complied?...Like where I can just READ it?

Otherwise I will be bugging you all with HM Questions...:lookaroun:lol:

I would suggest micechat's Long Forgotten Haunted Mansion Effect threads.
Long-forgotten Haunted Mansion Effect?
Son of "Long-Forgotten Haunted Mansion Effect," or The Thread 2
Revenge of "Long-Forgotten Haunted Mansion Effect," or The Thread 3
Long-Forgotten Haunted Mansion Effect Episode 4 A New Hope
Long-Forgotten Haunted Mansion Effect vs The Army of Darkness, or the Thread 5
Where you can find incredibly nerdy information like this post by yours truly.

So it is safe to assume that while we have SSE and EPCOT Threads that deal with every last speck of dust in the 180 Top, Micechat has HM Threads? Innnneresting...:king:

Really? That is the same way I feel about this forum. It must just be how I'm in California, and therefore I'm a bit more DLR-familiar, and vice-versa for you. Hence the reason I have 856 posts over at MiceChat and 293 posts here, and I've been members of both from about the same time. :)

We have to start being scary here, then...:drevil:

Or have we already started?:lookaroun

The problem here is that wayyy to many people want to blindly defend Disney and quickly dismis criticism as "doom & gloom". If someone pulled that crap at miceage they would be promptly laughed at and ignored.

The people here are under some false impression that the moder Walt Disney Company cares about its guests in the same way that Walt Disney did or even the Frank Wells/Eisner era Disney did and that things will magically get better on there own. A false notion.

In California, if one of the insiders reports some info that the fans dont like a letter writing/phone calling campaign is immediatly begun and the OC Register and LA Times are quickly called in to write articles to embarass Disney. In Florida, the orlando sentinel and local media is in bed with Disney (just look at the sentinel's 2007 article praising Phil Holmes). Its just a totally different mindset between the two coasts.

A good example is Winnie the Pooh. Over here there was a campaign to save Mr.Toad but it was ignored and they installed the tamer Pooh attraction and it instantly garnered praise. In California it replaced Country Bears and the reaction to the ride was OVERWHELMINGLY negative even the newspaper organizations said it was unacceptable that Disney is making such cheap rides in this day and age.

The people on the east coast just need to raise their expectations and start demanding more from WDW. Especially since the ticket prices are skyrocketing while the offerings at the resort are constantly shrinking. At first it was just stuff like the Skyway, 20k, the rivers of america watercrafts that were removed then bigger attractions like Discovery Island and River Country were shut down and now they have eliminated Pleasure Island all while hours of operation were slashed and maintenance took a nosedive.

Well....We are getting better at your first point. Doom and Gloom (as it's called:rolleyes::lol:) is flourishing...:lookaroun

I agree on the notion. It's all greed in my eyes.

Sentinel is a bit more slanderous...

And there are SO MANY political things to mention here, but I can't. I will, however mention Cali's wonderful voting record.:D:lookaroun

^I think more of the problem is, Eisner left more in his wake at the Disneyland Resort. Take Tomorrowland, for instance. You WDW people may think yours is bad, but it's a dream compared to DL Tomorrowland 1998. And California Adventure. What a mess. Now TDA is trying to fix it, and doing a very nice job. TDO, on the other hand, is messing things up instead of fixing them. That's why, when TDA makes a bad desicion, MiceChat is alarmed. Over here, when TDO makes a bad decision, it's kind of a joke. WDW has a lot of really nice attractions left over, while DLR's only hope is to restore itself. Therefore WDW hasn't met the same fate as DLR in the Eisner era... but it's on its way.

Don't worry that's a good thing. The more we react when Disney makes poor decisions the better it will be long term. It was because the Californians spoke up is the reason DCA is getting the 1.2 billion dollars. If we keep speaking our mind and let Disney know when they have done poorly' we can effect positive change at WDW just as the fans in CALI did with DCA.:animwink:

That's true cosmeticly DL's Tomorrowland is awful' no Peoplemover' Grounded Astro Orbitor' Huge waste of space known as Innoventions.
WDW on the other hand is shiny' still has a People Mover and the Astro Orbiter is elevated on a platform. what differs though is the quality and theme of the Attractions. In DL they have Star Tours' A Space Mountain that makes WDW's look like a joke and Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. Her we have un-imaginative and thematicly inappropriate attractions as Stitch's Great Escape and MILF. So Cosmeticly DL's Tomorrowland is a lot worse' but Attractions-wise is much better.

I think the real key to getting the parks on track is getting rid of Jay Rasulo and make Matt Ouimet the Chairman of Parks and Resorts.

DL's TL is getting a refurb, though.

And ours needs some cosmetic help, too...Rust.:(

Agreed on Matt Ouimet. (I keep reading his name as Omelet...:lookaroun)
