As of 9am in the midwest, DisneyDirect and WDW merch. had no idea of what I was even talking about. If anyone gets an operator that knows something please post.

After doing further checking throughout the day in re the 6 CD set, (knowing that you can get several stories from several different CM's), I was finally able to order it tonight calling the Disney Catalog. It is also supposed to go online at DisneyDirect.com tonight(4/25) at midnight (EST) ( again believe it when you see it).

It is true... I just ordered my 6 cD set as well... When I mentioned the item number, the CM started laughing.. She said they were getting a lot of orders for the 6 CD set... The item will be available at midnght EST for pre-order, shipping end of April. But, I pre-ordered mine over the phone. :sohappy:

Woo hoo!!! I just ordered mine as well via phone. <bounces like Tigger> I couldn't find it on the Disney Direct website. 1-800-328-0368, just in case someone doesn't have the number. Though, I was told that it wont ship until it is released on May 3, and I should receive it sometime by mid-May. I believe however they are following the Disney service addage of "under promise, over deliver." Meaning, tell the person mid-May, and when it shows up during the first week, the guest will be happy. Kinda like Scotty in the classic Star Trek....it'll take 4 hours captian... but I'll do it for ya in 2!

I just called and the cm said she didn't have a clue what I was talking about. She said the item number didn't exist and had never heard of the set. So, she took my contact information and someone else is supposed to call tomorrow. Why can some people order it and others can't?

Just Ordered mine off of DisneyDirect.com :sohappy::sohappy:I can't wait for it to arrive. They also have a free shipping promotion going on right now, so I got free shipping. Disneydirect says it will ship in 1 week!!

Got mine at 6:00 this morning as well.
Experience told me I should check everyday so I set my homepage to DisneyDirect and every time I hit the internet I would do a search for "disneyland". When I did it this morning it returned 29 items instead of 28 and I followed right to the 6 CD set.
I also got a "coupon" with my order so I can get a little savings when the new WDW CD hits - hopefully next week.

Being a victim of no patience, I just dropped the ball on the cds. By ordering off of the disneydirect.com you will not pay for shipping at this time. I am at my job where I cannot order anything due to a filter, I called and ordered from an operator (1st time I have ordered anything over the phone in years.) Well by doing that, I am looking at about $15 more for shipping. So be wise and order over Internet. She told to expect within 8-10 days, cool.
