The Official 2007 October Role Call

I know it is a little early this year but I had some extra time this morning so I thought I would go ahead and start it, THE OFFICIAL 2007 OCTOBER ROLE CALL. OK guys, let's hear it. What is the date of your trip? Who will be in your traveling party? Where are you staying? Are you going to the MNSSHP and if so, which night? Are you and the kids dressing up for the party? Feel free to share any details of your upcoming trip or any details from past October trips to share with everyone else!!!

To start us off, we are going Oct 6-14. And for the second time, we are staying off-site. Last year we rented a house for the week with another family and it was really nice. This year we are going with a different family and decided to split the cost of a rental house again with them. Our "Disney traveling party" actually consist of 3 families and a total of 14 people. We will all be going to the MNSSHP on the 11th. A little too early for the kids to pick out costumes but when they do, I will let you know.

I will start a list of the Halloween party attenders. It's fun to meet others from the forums. It was my honor to meet IMAMOUSE last year. She is such a sweet person and it was great to put a face with a name. And if any body has any pictures from past October trips and MNSSHParties, I think it would be fun to post them here!

edit-we won't be dressing up by the way. I had considered wearing one of those really tight Mr. Incredible suits(since I have the body for it) but I decided against it since the sight of me in a tight red suit would very quickly turn MNSSHP into Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

My wife and I are celebrating our 5th anniversary @ WDW. We are staying @ the Poly and leaving our two children at home this time. We were married at Sunset Pointe and wanted to spend our anniversary at the hotel we got married at. Our anniversary is the 29th and we will be at the world the 23rd-30th.
Everyone going during F & W Festival needs to make sure they sample something from EVERY booth. It is the BEST festival in the world.

We will be there Oct 20-26, staying at POFQ and doing MNSSHP on the 23rd. It will be me, my husband and DD7 as well as my dad and my mom who is having a birthday on the trip.:sohappy:

We will be in Disney from Oct. 27th - Nov. 3rd. It will be four of us, husband, daughter, my mom, and me. We are staying at the Contemporary with all the construction. Always my luck, last time I stayed at the Poly they were working on it. This will be our first visit in Oct. I am so excited, we normally go in the middle of May but I have always wanted to go in October. We will be at the MNSSHP on Oct. 30th. Any body know how the crowds are during the week I'll be there? As for dressing up, I never miss the chance! Brings out the kid in me, just like Mardi Gras. I always dress in costume then too. It's tradition. Don't know what I will be yet, but will definitely dress up.

Thanks for starting this thread. I am glad to see I am not the only nut who counts down the days even though I still have triple digits to go!

still crying that SSE will be closed during my visit (it's my favorite ride in Epcot) :sohappy: :sohappy: to see it's getting the love it deserves!!!

We're checking in Oct 28th and leaving November 3rd. Originally we planned for WL, but budgetary restraints caused us to move to All-Star Movies. There are 4 of us, but only DH and DD will be at MNSSHP on the 30th. Our youngest has special needs and has to keep to a schedule, so staying up too late would be more stressful than fun. A little upset about missing Tusker House at AK, but we'll be some of the last families enjoying Donald's Breakfastosaurus on the 2nd. This is our second trip to WDW, and I know it won't be our last! :sohappy: :sohappy:

We are going on 18th October and staying until 2nd November - getting very excited! For the first time we are travelling with another family , they are related and I think that our daugter will enjoy playing with their children. Eight in total going, 4 children & 4 adults.

My immediate family have not been to Disney for nearly 2 years due to the arrival of our new baby last August, so we are really looking forward to our trip (the other half of our party went last October)

Miss staying as Disney but we now have our own villa out there so obviously will be staying in that!

We have MNNSHP for the 31st which is so exciting! My Uncle who we are travelling with said we would never be able to get tickets for Halloween night but thanks to the information on this site I new when they started selling them and got them nice and early. I'm sure that the children will dress up and we may too!

I will try to keep the front page updated as often as possible, but there maybe some times when it takes a while, but I will eventually get to it.

Food & Wine visit

Arrivial on the 26th, staying through the 29th, with plans for Party for the Senses on the 27th, and as many other Food & Wine Festival events as possible. I just left a message with Kingdom Konsultants, as I'm not sure of where to stay this time around - we've been to AKL so many times now, we're thinking of a change of pace for this visit. Perhaps something in the EPCOT resort area so we can just walk to festival events. We're also thinking of dinner at Victoria and Albert's, which we have been intending to do for a long time, but have never gotten around to.

P.S. Konsultants just called back, and I booked Beach Club based on Elizabeth's suggestion.

Oh, oh...I am so glad you started this thread!!

We are going from October 19th through the 28th, but will actually be in the parks the 20th through the 17th. We are also staying off property - I rented a house from a great guy last year and we are doing the same thing this year. Great price with my own, heated pool - YEAH!

We are attending MNSSHP on the 23rd. The entire family (four of us) is dressing as characters from Peter Pan. My DS will be Peter, DD will be Wendy, DH is Captain Hook and I will be a red-headed Tinkerbell (unless someone knows of a blonde wig with a bun! LOL). I have to lose a little weight so I don't look like an overweight Tinkerbell, but I still have 120 days to work on it.

If you are visiting the same time we are, please let me know - I think it would be neat just to say hello. Also, if you are a cast member, feel free to PM me closer to the date as to where you will be stationed and we will drop by to say hello and pick on you (not)!

We ar going the same dates from the 19th to the 28th. We will be celebrating our daughter's 10th birthday on the 20th at the Magic Kingdom. We will be staying on site but have yet to pick which hotel it will be. My daughter will be Bell for the MNSSHP night. I haven't decided yet what to be. Send me some mail when the time gets closer and we'll say hello.

My family and I are going the 21st to the 31st. It's going to be my 27th birthday trip and my husbands early 30th... His birthday is on Thanksgiving this year and I don't like waiting in airports. We are going to be staying at SSR in a two bedroom this time YAY!!! I plan on getting my kids and MIL tickets to MNSSHP but not sure what day yet. For DH I am getting him the King package at the Driving Experience since he really wants to show off how fast he can't drive :ROFLOL: I plan on doing what I do every birthday trip and spend DH money on goodies. A little sad SSE won't be open, its my DD and DH tradition to ride it together first thing. See you all there!:sohappy:
