From our trip in August 1977

No tour groups, no ECV's, no crowds in August, 20K leaugues, cable cars....good lord we had no idea how GOOD the good old days really were!

These are all circa 1989-1991.

Horribly blurry but not a character you see around too much anymore.

My favorite fountain.

Some things just don't change...except my hair. It's gotten quite a bit better.

I have no idea why this is so small but it is awesome.

I'm not sure what I love more about this pic...the Ewok or the amazing fashion statement my godmother is making. :lookaroun

Just to be on the safe side, and I'm not sure if you are aware that Back to the Future, the first two photos were in Universal Studio. It was an awesome ride. Sort of a Body Wars on steroids. It is now Simpsons, the ride. Cute, but not really comparable.

No worries. Does anyone know if universal still has the Delorean and Train up on display at Toon Lagoon?

Yes they are but they aren't at Toon Lagoon. They are both in the original Universal park.

I don't remember the train, but the Delorean has a place of honor right across from the old Back to the Future building.

Both get moved more often than one would think. The train is currently near the Animal Actors stadium. With all of the construction going on over near the Simpsons ride the Delorean has moved too.

is the old Wild Wild West Stunt Show / FF amphitheater still around? Or is that part of The new HP, like Jaws.

It used to be such an interesting park to visit, seeing that it was a working TV/Animation studio as well. Now? Not so much. Still fun, but...not the same.

Those pictures are the way I remember it. I'd love to see some evening shots from that era.
