What was Surprise in the Skies?

A very short lived show aerial show in World Showcase that ran form 1991-1992. It was pretty spectacular but was plagued with technical and weather issues.

Ahhh, thank you so much! It has been a mystery in my family for years and of course my father didn't take any pictures of the show itself so I had nothing to base my searches on except "giant blow-up balloons around World Showcase" which surprisingly enough did not tell me anything.

Does anyone know what these giant blow ups are about? Here you can see Pooh in Canada and in the far background you can see Robin Hood. This is the Summer of '92.

didn't MK use to have a parade with big balloon characters in the 90s? I think my mom may have pictures of it from our first trip as a family. I would've been 7 so I can't remember much...
