Does anyone think that the Cinderella area (and subsequent buildings) are the Cinderella Castle Tour being installed at Tokyo Disneyland? Search the concept art, and it seems to have a large ballroom area, which may account for the circular buildings. There is no room the castle because of CRT, so maybe this is an inexpensive way to give Cinderella a proper homage.
Thoughts?

I thought about this too and it would save Disney money.

As for Aurora getting her walkthrough here, I doubt it. Building still looks too small, maybe The Woodcutter's Cottage for a meet and greet?

I would bet that all three of the princess "attractions" are just meet and greets. Both the The Cindy and Belle locations look like they have a toontown fair style multi room approach like is in place now for the M&G's. Also this area is a great place for entertainment cast members to reach so putting a concentrated amount of characters there only makes sense.

Also where the dumbo location is almost exactly where the old M&G are now.

Keep in mind that the SB walkthru at DL uses very little footage in the castle and most of it is stairs. If they were transport it here, it would require no stairways and you could have the scenes closer together. I don't expect a copy, a glorified MG seems more likely, but I wouldn't rule it out soley because it's a small building.

I don't think it's too girly at all. Are boys not allowed to enjoy the princess movies anymore? I loved them growing up. I also LOVE Splash mtn, PotC, Space mtn etc not to mention Tom Sawyer's island, theres TONS of stuff geared more towards what boys are supposedly interested in, so why not a little love for the girls?

So where are the "Plans"? Why have they not been posted and reposted? Since when have we not done that?

Last I checked, you can't stop the signal...

I thought they were all deleted

I thought so as well, but I see one a few pages back..unless it's just still in my brower's cache since I haven't left the page and just keep hitting refresh every few seconds ;)

I'm confused by the castle wall...when I first saw it I thought it was going to be an extension of the castle, but then its placement is strange...i don't have it overlayed on top of an existing map, but it looks like it's BEHIND the carousel, sort of near where dumbo is now...
Does it look to anyone else like this is going to be almost a courtyard with the carousel inside it, and then the wall behind it?

But then that's weird because Philharmagic would somehow be inside this courtyard as well...I don't understand that part of the plan.

It is exactly going to be the castle courtyard idea that has been talked about. It is going to set up the carousel and Phil, and PP and SW all within the "Castle Courtyard" Then the new are will be a forest setting outside the castle.

IHMO it's brilliant:sohappy::sohappy:

They are of course allowed but it is a bit taboo. No one thinks twice when you see a little girl in a Jack Sparrow costume but a little boy in a Cinderella costume will get a few awkward glances.

Looking at the plans, A few things have come to my mind:

- The Castle Wall idea is great, as is the rebuild of SW and more importantly Pooh (I was wondering if they would do that)
- I hope Pan still get a major remodel. It is the most out of date FL ride anywhere and could use a complete rebuild inside and out.
- Cinderella does look like some kind of theater show.
- Did anyone else notice the new utilidor tunnel they show running from Cinderella to backstage!?
- While one actual new attraction is great and better than nothing, it sure would be nice if we could get one more C/D ticket. Maybe put it where the have Cinderella, Pooh, and Aurora?
- I would not be surprised to see Aurora be a copy of the new SB walkthru at DL. I would also figure that Belle will also be a walkthru in a similar style. Hopefully they are walkthrus rather than glorified M&G queues.
- LM does look smaller than I had imagined.
- I would have to figure that WDI plans to rebuild the Magic Carpets as one of the new Dumbos. It would surely be cheaper than a whole new structure and would free up the AL congestion that MC's installation caused. I wonder if the new Dumbos will have 4-person vehicles, like MC, or 2-person like the original.
- I am shocked that they would get rid of Mickey's house. Maybe after FL's refurbishment we'll see an small indoor toontown appear where the Walt Disney story once was.
- No matter what the final product is, FL will finally be a beautiful land rather than an ugly mess and for that I am very happy.

I see several areas that will likely be meet and greets: Belle, Aurora, Pooh, Fairies, Cinderella and Ariel.

What's really throwing me is the Barnstormer. It looks like it says "Cheese Coaster", but I think some of the letters in Cheese are actually part of the track supports.

I think the risk could be that Fantasyland becomes the land for little girls, but that would lend itself to an Adventureland makeover for boys. I'd be willing to accept that. I'm also speculating that the Princess and the Frog won't do as well as expected simply because it has the name "Princess" in the title and young boys would be less inclined to see it.

I thought it said "Cherie Coaster," but now I totally see "Cheese Coaster." Whatever it says, any ideas on how it will be incorporated into the new theming?

The other thing that's throwing me is that the label for the Speedway is "Indy Race Cars". Hasn't that been renamed the Tomorrowland Speedway? I know it's possible that any site maps like this would reference the old names for attractions, but that seemed particularly odd.

Obviously it is nodding to the new theme of the race track to Indian Jones....... DUH:drevil:

Did anyone else notice on the plans that it says "Pooh Meet and Greet" across from the attraction, but all the areas behind the castle wall with the princess names on them say "[princess] attraction"? In other words, not necessarily (just) a meet and greet. At least it's a noticeable inconsistency! :) I don't mind M&Gs but something more of an attraction for each of these princesses/movies would be far better. Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty rides would be so exciting!

I noticed the "cheese coaster" thing on the Barnstormer too, hehe. Sat there for a while trying to figure out what it could possibly say and gave up eventually. (Mickey Mouse coaster? :lookaroun) I hope they turn it into a Snow White coaster eventually, as the Barnstormer is very thematically inappropriate if Toontown is gone. It's too bad that Toontown is scrapped, I really liked it. It just needed more attractions and a refurb (the paint chipping was terribly unsightly).

As for TLM's show building, sorry if someone else brought it up and I missed it, but maybe it will use upper/lower levels of the building for part of the show, like HM/POTC. I haven't heard much of the track layout plans for DCA's TLM, so maybe a track of that sort is impossible. Any links?

I wonder how the castle wall will work with Pooh's area. Even if it isn't as fairy tale-ish as the princess stories, Pooh still belongs in a forest and could be worked in somehow as far as themeing, but it would cut off the major pathway from FL to TL, so maybe it's impossible. Would be much, much cuter though I think. Doesn't TDL's Pooh have a foresty queue? I hope they give WDW's something similar even if it's outside the walls.

Anyone know what the blobby black dashed lines might signify? They loop around all over the place, seemingly labeling certain areas but they don't seem to always make sense.
