I still haven't seen the plans.
I think it's a myth.

Why is it ok when Lee/Martin/WDW1974/Tirian/etc. critize disney but when I do it you have a real problem
Looks very promising.
I was in a state of panic when I came back to this thread to find everyone talking about plans that I could not see... until I remembered this thing called the internet. To all of those who haven't seen them: check other sites. :lookaroun
I have a question about the areas marked Cinderella Attraction and Aurora Attraction. I'm sorry if this has been discussed already but I can't keep re-reading this same thread. On an official Disney Plan does "Attraction" mean ride or can it mean anything? I ask because those areas look pretty small, especially if you compare them with the carousel. Could they actually be rides? Lord, I hope they make an Aurora ride! Sleeping Beauty is the ultimate fairytale and I think it would be a tragedy if it were overlooked in this upgrade.
Does anyone else think that VotLM looks like a CircleVision attraction?
OMG I hope not.
I take attraction to mean anything that is not a meet and greet.. If you notice, the meet and greets are designated as such... This could be something as small as a stage show... Or something like Belle's storytime... I wouldn't assume ride just because it says attraction...
I suppose. Especially the villain. However, wouldn't it be a bit...Dark?Bah! As already shown through the Cinderella Castle Mystery Tour, The Black Cauldron would look cool realized in three dimensions. Plus a special edition DVD is coming (soon as Disney picks a date, likely next year for it's 25th Anniversary) and you know how Disney loves cross promotion!
I have a feeling it might be like this. It works very well.Does anyone think that the Cinderella area (and subsequent buildings) are the Cinderella Castle Tour being installed at Tokyo Disneyland? Search the concept art, and it seems to have a large ballroom area, which may account for the circular buildings. There is no room the castle because of CRT, so maybe this is an inexpensive way to give Cinderella a proper homage.
Thoughts?
Another interesting thought. Is this 55 all ONE land? I'm thinking there might be several here. FL, Princess Place, and Dumbo-vile/Toon Town. The castle wall is down in the current area of Dumbo, and appears to be the entry area to the Princess subset of FL.
The dotted lines just show the breakdown of each area.
Ah...All the other attractions are single level, hence it`s easy to see the track layout. Where Mermaid is planned is at present at real ground level - arond 16ft below the Fland park level.
If such an attraction were duel level drawing the track layout would be confusing. Assuming they wanted it included on this plan.
Assuming it is real.
Really? I would think they would be changing names frequently. :shrug:I surely did notice that. And honestly...it concerns me a little bit.
I'm fairly sure it's the same ride, though....
Heh. Two Castles?! Would be pretty cool. But it would work, if they perhaps made all the "additions" or "new wings" themed to match Cinderella's. Perhaps to enforce the "fortress" aspect of FL.I was just assuming the building might house a stage show and the ride. I hear what you're saying.
Here is the Beast castle. Hmmm, looks familiar. :lookaroun
Right! That would be cool, too.I don't think some folks are understanding jt's implication that Be Our Guest's facade will look like the castle. Nothing is happening to Cinderella Castle.
It would be nice to have another weenie for the park and to be the only Disney park with two castles (granted they'll make sure that B&B's castle isn't as tall as Cindy's)
Thought I`d drop in these from the never built B&TB restaurant at DLP:
I am pretty sure Lee and Marni already said this will be a clone of the ride going into DCA...
I agree, hopefully it is that BatB animatronic show some people were talking about earlier.

I am just going out on a limb here to say that the only reason The Enigdrum is still around is because he is comically off base and his antics promote thread clicks. And besides, everyone is entitled to their opinion, even you... We all won't agree with you... And you won't agree with us... But, a lot of your posts are just really bad information and really silly... Like I said, bad entertainment..
But on topic, I agree here. I would not be surprised for a Turtle Talk type attraction in at least one of these small "attraction" spots.I take attraction to mean anything that is not a meet and greet.. If you notice, the meet and greets are designated as such... This could be something as small as a stage show... Or something like Belle's storytime... If it's ALL FL...WOW! Biggest land ever?
Ah...
That's what I remember too, I just saw that big circular thingy, and it got me worried.

I know his special type of logic is a reason why I keep coming back.

Ok um I missed something, I went through every page of this thread and where are you guys finding the layouts and blueprints for this proposed plan? Did I miss it somewhere?
Its sounding more and more like a princessland of meetngreets along with the little mermaid ride. Is there more to it?
