The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History'

I know that this is totally subjective, but I would be hesitant to call either of those attractions. Both are also long overdue replacements for their predecessors, whereas Muppets is truly a new experience.

Nor would I call The Muppets an attraction. HOP, Tiki Bird, and Country Bears are "attractions" as you enter show buildings and they run continuously. Taken a step further, Lion King and Nemo are also shows with live performers but also "attractions" because they have FPs and are in show buildings. This show is "streetmosphere" just as "Move It, Shake It". "Dapper Dan", and "The Trolley Show" are streetmosphere. But I wouldn't call The Muppets an "attraction".

LOVE THIS, what a great feature for family to share, and enjoy the history...

Anyone else think that something on the boston tea party would be hilarious with Sam and Fozzy???:)

agree it seems cute, well done, patriotic, and enoyable for all ages. I do agree with others that having muppets in the mk kinda irks me but seems to blend well really.

Not sure why, but it gets me so mad that they are in Magic Kingdom. IDK. For some reason i juts feel like they dont belong there. not a fan of this at all

I would so much rather see the Muppets in colonial character....and something that can be changed and adjusted over time....its a GOOD SHOW with decent writing......THIS vs Star Wars Land....and a whole land at that, insertion at Disneyland..... :bored:.

Am I the only one who finds having Sam in the Declaration show so far away from the rest of the cast a bit hard to follow? One of the vids I watched kept panning from JJ to window trio to Sam, and by the time they got to Sam, half his line was over. I imagine people watching are doing the same thing. Just seems a little awkward for positioning/timing.

Finally got a chance to watch the video by @wdwmagic - it's a cute show, and at about 10 mins long, a perfect length for one of those little "distraction shows" that really add life to the parks. While I'm not completely sold on Muppets in Liberty Square, they have been integrated quite well and the show is great balance of history and entertainment.

I do appreciate that it's quintessentially Muppets, filled with that exuberance and optimism that's made them such great characters.

The Muppets? Taking inspiration from popular culture and parodying it?!? I am shocked, SHOCKED to find gambling in this establishment!

I'll give you that. I do consider it an attraction, but since it's a street-based show I completely understand why some others wouldn't. For me, it's more attraction than streetmosphere, though, even if it straddles the line between the two.

Even MDE doesn't consider it an "Attraction". It's under "Entertainment", though.

I was so impressed by this show. They did a technically amazing job with integrating pre-recorded audio with the muppet movements. There is a specific way Miss Piggy moves, or Gonzo moves, or even the chickens move. And the muppetiers did a fantastic job of recreating those movements. I was just in WDW over this last weekend, but I missed seeing this show. Can't wait to go back again and catch it for myself!

Tried to find an answer, but couldn't, so I searched and found this thread. Are these AA's or actual Muppets with performers? I watched the video with my boys and that can't wait to go back to see it live. We were there when they were still building it over the summer.

Actually puppeteers. A lot of the cast from VOTLM, FOTLK and Disney JR learned this show.

Want a laugh, go back and read page 1 of this thread. So many people, expert in their knowledge of what will or won't happen at WDW.

I don't remember anybody saying that saying this puppet show wouldn't happen. A lot of people were upset that it WAS happening. Trust me, nobody here blithely dismisses any rumor, no matter how nutty is it, anymore, because this is the Chapek era. I'm just grateful the Tower in DHS has been spared, although not for the right reasons.

Thanks for never disappointing in your total obsession and posting dozens and dozens of anti-Muppet posts in any Muppet thread that might exist.

I think you are like Judge Doom from Roger Rabbit. It is the only thing that make any sense.

You must be secretly a self-loathing Muppet in disguise, so you have no choice but to blather on and on endlessly about how the Muppets suck. I wouldn't be surprised if you showed up in Disney with your own barrel of Dip to try to take them out.

In the meantime, as I have suggested to you before, if Muppets haunt your dreams so horribly, one first step to stop that pain would be to stop clicking on Muppet threads.

Have a wonderful night!
