People who give CM's a hard time because they want their own way and are not prepared to show some patience /courtesy to people who are only there to help

"Why did you guys ditch me?"

"Us ditch you! We told you where we were going and next thing we knew you were no where to be found! We spent hours looking for you!. If you can't have the decency to tell the rest of us that you don't want to hang out with us then maybe you should do the rest of the trip solo!"

Um, that's freaking brilliant. I shall tell you how it works out on my next trip to the world...which will probably be at least a year because NO ONE CAN GET ANY TIME OFF!!! (I'm not angry. Do I sound angry? Maybe I'm a little angry. Just a touch....):animwink:

- People who I know darn well don't need wheelchairs (I've seen them trade with friends) but use them to get to the front of the line.

- People who make a huge scene because they have to wait to eat or because their kids are too small for a ride.

- Rides that stop halfway through (haunted mansion is constantly having this problem) untill I realized why it may be. Folks in wheelchairs need help getting on so they have to stop the ride for them. Still annoying but understandable.

- Parents who force kids to stand next to characters for pictures or go on rides when they are obviously afraid of them. "You're going to Disney and you'll like it!"

- CM that obviously don't want to be there and show it. If you are having a bad day please don't take it out on the guests. One very rude CM could ruin a whole day for me.

- Ticket prices. Disney is a money machine! I LOVE the parks and understand why people want to go but it should be something everyone can afford. We're going in the fall with my parents but if they weren't paying there is NO WAY we'd be able to do it. Every child should be able to enjoy WDW at least once in their life. I have a friend who's child was watching some show on tv where they grant wishes to sick kids (excellent cause) and one child got to go to Disney World. My friend's family is not well off and can't afford to go. Her child couldn't understand why this child could go and he couldn't. It's hard to explain this to a 5 year old but
he had a good point. We ALL should be able to go. I'm not saying for free but it should not cost hundreds of dollars for a family to spend 1 day there.

Sorry for the rant...got carried away

I'm most annoyed by the evildoers who let loose sneaky pants poofs in line. You try to determine who cut the queso, but the culprit usually feigns ignorance and carries on as if they aren't responsible for the foul, fetid stench in the air. For shame!

Forgot about that one:lol: Seems to be many noxious clouds around WDW parks.

If you think Disney is expensive try staying a week at the jersey shore, the Seaside boardwalk alone is more expensive than anything in Disney, and alot less pleasant

Are you all being silly or serious here? I saw another thread about CBJ being un-pc. It's been several years since I've seen it but I dont' remember anything bad about it. What's up?

LOL! Funny you should mention that. I grew up in the most southern part of NJ. Wildwood IS expensive! It's fun but it's definately not as great as Disney. I'd pick Mickey over seagulls any day!

I would agree with just about every post here... we've all experienced something that is just a pet peev.

After reading, we all seem to come to one conclusion...

COMMON CURTIOUSY.

My oh my where has it gone. The line jumping, or talking during a show, running over people (which I'm every so sorry if I've gotten you) without saying SORRY, trying to squeeze your kid into that cracker jack size piece of concrete to watch a parade because you thought there was plenty of time to see Stitch's Great Escape one more time.

I'm guilty of stopping for a short time to a quick picture, but I make sure that I don't block anyone or cause 400 people to have to squeeze around me.
Yes, we all pay enormous amounts of money to go to WDW and we all feel that because we spend so much, we deserve a little respect, etc. But we choose to go there, we know what we're paying for and for some people to believe that their vacation is any more special than the next person needs to stay home.

Oh, and I read earlier how they get "you're going back again?!" etc... You know... who cares if we are going back for the 3rd time this year. Yeah, like those weekend trips up to the Wisconsin Dells are any different. We choose to go because when I walk thru the tunnel under the Main Street Train station I'm going to be 5 years old again. I get to see something with my little girls that no one earth will ever understand and take away from me. That's why we go back...

and we'll go back a 10th time this year if we can clip enough coupons.... (sorry, couldn't resist)

This is an easy one for me. After vowing never to ride Stitch's Great Escape because I never liked the original version of the ride anyways, I caved and rode it on Sunday. Wow, what a waste of my time! That is by far, the most annoying ride I have ever been on in WDW, utterly pointless. I can't believe I actually waited 30 minutes in the heat for that! :hammer:

So, my vote for most annoying is SGE! A close second would be large tour groups who feel the need to entertain us other guests with their own little "skits". I had to hear these people sing and dance for 20 minutes while I waited in line. I go to WDW to be entertained by WDW, not anybody else.

Hey, I totally understand. I've been there 5 times already this year with 2 more trips planned all ready but I'll probably end up going 4 more for a grand total of 9 visits in 1 year! :sohappy:

Enjoy your time with your little girls, they are only little once. It is so hard when others don't understand the way I feel when I see my boys eyes light up when we get to WDW, it's pure magic. In an instant, we are all kids playing together. That is something I can't put a price tag on and to me, it's worth every penny.

People with strollers that just run you over and think that they have the right away, and don't say excuse me or sorry for running over your toes!

That's what really annoys me, and I have to say it's a small world song, that drives me nuts. That would be the worst ride to get stuck on!!!! :dazzle:

Next time that happens... I will just extinguish my cig in one of that persons eyes. :fork:

What about smokers that do not follow the rules of the park. You know the one where you are only allowed to smoke in certain spots around the park. I can not stand walking around having someone puffing away on a cancer stick being forced to breath in its toxins. I would be upset as a smoker if a non smoker came into my "special Spot" in the park (smokers area) and started non smoking (running thier mouths) in my area. It goes both ways. I wish we would all just follow the rules!

The last time I was at the Disney Parks was late October of 2004 (days before the election). (Without naming political parties) Amoung my group of 4 adults, we had an individual who had strong political beliefs and even had a shirt with her. She decided (thankfully) not to wear this to the parks, as we were there to have fun and not promote our opinions or annoy others with them. While we were in line for BTMRR, we ecountered a group of 12 people, children and adults, with shirts, buttons and the like, chanting political slogans and songs (obviusly for the opposing party candidate). We kept quiet but were VERY annoyed. Once we got off the ride we spoke to some other people, who had been in line, who had also been extemely annoyed by that group's behaviour.

It's not "disney?" What is it then? Universal ? Is it not part of the Walt Disney Company ?

It is the Magic Kingdom. It is a part of Disney, Disney World (shudders), and the Walt Disney Company, but it is the Magic Kingdom.
