I hate Disney buses. I really do.

And then the times guides NEVER being right. I usually point out atleast one inaccuracy a week to someone at some guest relations. Of course no one ever cares and no one tries to get the system fixed so they are correct, but i try.

Then the next one is CMs who don't speak english very well being placed in high-speil or guest contact areas. I shouldn't be trying to interpet for guest relations CMs at Epcot, and I haven't been the jungle cruise with someone who spoke english as the skipper in months. There are certainly other jobs they can be doing at WDW, but having full boats of people not understanding a joke on the jungle cruise or having me have to point, explain, rephrase, point again for guest relations is wrong. Fluency should be a requirement for those positions.

I haven't had that problem before, But i've only been going to disney world since 1989 that could be why :hammer:

i try not to let anything annoy me when im in disney but there are just a few things that tend to get under my skin,

-people on the ddp that hold up the line because they dont know what they want to use for the snack, meal, etc. ( im not agenst the ddp in any way im actually getting it on my next trip )

-People that shove infront of you because they think they are going to get there any faster... for example in mgm we were on the backlot tour and there were 2 adults and a child behind us and the woman was constantally pushing infront of us leaving her husband and child behind... i was just thinking that we were all going to the same place for the same ride!

-When a group of people walk right up to the front of the line for the bus and push there way on infront of everyone that has been waiting a long time with sleeping children on there sholders (especially at closing)

-and finally the same thing that probally gets to all disney fans and has already been mentioned.. i hate it when im leaving or getting ready to leave and i see people checking in or in the airport that are very excited to start there disney vacation and mine has now come to an end

I agree with rude guests. Also, guests visiting from other countries who can't speak ONE WORD of English. How can you enjoy WDW without understanding basically everything the attractions are saying, singing, etc?! Maybe Epcot is ok for them to visit if their country is in World Showcase. I wouldn't go to another country without knowing SOME of their language. It's ignorant.

what you said is ignorant! so you're telling me you dont wanna go to europe to visit or another country that you don't know their language? give me a break.

Actually if you reread what she said, shes stating that she wouldn't travel to another country without knowing atleast some of the language, which is very far from ignorant.

i wouldnt defend her, what she said was clearly ignorant. if i wanna go to a different country, i'm not gonna learn every language to "get by" i'll pick up a few key things, but that's it.

She didn't say she was going to become fluent in the language before traveling there, talk about reading too much into something. :brick:

I have to agree with kasey1988 because it can be a bother when people can't speak english and they have to find someone who can talk the same language as them. Especially when you are waiting in line to buy something and you have to wait for them. I'm just saying they should learn some basic English before coming to the US.

tour groups and strollers!!!!! omg i hate tour groups. i was at typhoon lagoon on wednesday and there were brazillian ppl laying all around the park sleeping in pathways. i tripped over one and they yelled at me. they just pulled up a rock and fell asleep. i wanted to throw water at them and wake them up. and they dont move.they wouldnt let us off the monorail at the contemporary when we got back from the spirit of aloha show. they are loud and oboxious. another thing is strollers or as i call them battering rams. i was walking down a path that was crowed over in frontierland while spectro magic was going on. it was congested so we stopped a little and one time some woman kept hitting my mom with the stroller to get her to move when she couldnt. then i was by splash mountain and a baby stroller ran down a hill and hit my uncle and gave him a big bruise. then i returned the stroller to the owner and they gave me a nasty look like i was trying to steal it from them. now i know ppl need strollers for their kids and im not saying everyone who uses strollers is like this, but the ones who are, i HATE. i kicked someone's strollers out of my way when they tried to push me so they can cut the line at haunted mansion on friday night's extra magic hours!!! other than that i had a great trip last week. lol

I traveled to Germany once but I was with family members who live there so we had no problem at restaurants, etc. I am however wary of traveling to other countries without having someone with me to interpret. I know that I always try to be patient and communicate with someone who doesn't know our language well, but that doesn't mean that everyone is like that. I worry that if I go to another country I may encounter those people who don't want to bother dealing with someone who doesn't know that language (who knows what I'll end up ordering to eat :zipit: ). That being said...I think Disney is a great place for worldy travelers. There are so many CMs that can speak multiple languages. So maybe they don't get the full experience of the shows, but I'm sure they are still having fun. What bothers me more are people who choose to live and work in this country and speak very little english--I think that is wrong.

Night of Joy! Worst event I ever worked, I actually prefered grad night to this! Too many sheltered teens running amuck in the park! And one crazy wearing an "Abortion Kills Babies" t-shirt with a big picture of a bloody fetus on it who shoved me out of the way when I wouldn't let him in the TommorowLand theatre because we were over the fire code capacity. So of course since I have an awful sense of humor I fell to the ground and said, "I'm pregnant, you just killed my baby!" Not that he heard me or anything, but it still amused me.
that is fn hI-larious. stupid people.

What also annoys me...is when people comment on what I said before reading my responses to others who read into my opinion wrong.

I never mentioned any intention for MYSELF to visit other countries with or without knowing the language. I don't have any desire to leave the USA.

What ANNOYS me is when I'm in MY country and people who can't speak English act like they're better than you and have more rights than you, especially in WDW. This opinion is based off of MY experiences with those people.

Don't get your knickers in such a twist, omg.

Tour Groups:fork:

But, when i go down for christmas break, my family and i are going to bring an American Flag and all ware the same shirts, and while in line were going to start singing GOD BLESS AMERICA out loud!(or maybe next summer when they are back

People who figure that standing under 1" away from you in line will help them get in faster

Oh yes, that is BY FAR the most annoying thing ever. Have these people ever heard of personal space before??? :fork:

and also. the tour group thing. I thought WDW was more of a family thing :dazzle:

And what is annoying is when you are waiting to get on a ride and there is a person speaking in a different language right in your ear going on and on. :fork:
