(No I'm not going to watch a 30 minute advertisement for a new exclusive Target line to see if that word is ever mentioned)

What Bob doesn't realize is the financial possibilities that a People Mover could present. I see a very slow moving culinary experience akin to dining in a high-quality train car... but, you know, through Tomorrowland instead.
Just came out of one of the other "let's argue about COVID and politics but pretend we're talking about DL" threads. ugh... I think my brain needs a shower after that.
So... uh... how about that new Mandalorian episode? Pretty awesome, eh?
I really enjoyed Ep 3. Each episode has gotten better. Episode 1 felt a little gimmicky to me but overall I thought was alright.

Despite not being a Frozen fan, and having actually not seen Frozen 2 yet, the making of documentary, Into the Unknown, on D+ was fantastic.

I agree. It was really cool to see how they worked with all the story problems and how the animation was done. Something that really struck me by surprise was that they acknowledged that the story wasn't as great as they hoped instead of hiding the mad rush to fix the story issues. I really hope the Soul docuseries goes into this much depth as the Frozen one did.

Coming from a more live-action film background, it's completely surprising that they don't work harder to lock a story down before starting animation. I mean, I get why they can't wait on everything until then, but it must be so painful for those artists to have spent months of their life on a particular sequence or scene, only to have it thrown out later because they did a test screening and realized the story didn't make sense anymore.

This reminds me of the deleted 'soup' scene from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, that Ward Kimball spent months on- only to have Walt cut it from the film. If I recall correctly, Ward met with Walt about his disappointment from having the scene cut- with Walt assuring him his animation and design would be used more prominently in the next animated film, leading to his work on Jiminy Cricket.
For those who haven't read it, Todd James Pierce's wonderful book The Life and Times of Ward Kimball is a must read.

I watch a lot of behind the scenes stuff and 9 times out of 10 it seems they were right to delete the scene. But every once in a while you have a 7 dwarfs soup scene.

I finally have a different avatar for the first time since joining over a year ago and I'm really excited about it! It's basically the same thing as my last one, just a drawing of myself I had someone do for me, but I got it updated and in a new drawing style since I've grown my hair out for about a year now and my old picture has been outdated for the last 7 months or so. My hair might not be exactly to the length in my avatar yet but I figured I would future proof and get it done to show what I'll look like when I get my hair to my desired length. Also just another random thought but I have been really enjoying the new Mandalorian season and I especially am liking all these references to Clone Wars and other Star Wars lore, it really is doing a fantastic job seeing things from the animated series coming to life.
I hope everyone has been doing well, I'm getting in another little rut due to the pandemic and family issues and multiple other factors, and I tend to forget to check in here when I go through times like these. I really can not wait until the parks can reopen and these forums can see discussion of Disneyland again and not just us questioning these guidelines and guessing when we might see the park open within the next year. Thanks everyone for all the discussions we have here even now, this little corner of the internet brings me a lot of joy and I genuinely appreciate everyone here

The first TV show I ever bought on iTunes was Phineas and Ferb. I had an iPod Nano 3rd Gen and it played videos and I bought like 3 episodes of Phineas and Ferb to watch on a flight. That show was so fun to watch while it was on the air when I was still in elementary school, I swear every start of summer break during school I had the theme song play in my head from like 4th grade until high school graduation.I'd forgotten how much I enjoy Phineas and Ferb. Thanks Disney+!

This is not the normal for me but I want to be honest wtih you all for a minute if I can. I want to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your families. If there is one thing I am thankful for this year is this site and all of you, even the ones I don't always agree with. You guys have helped me keep my sanity and fight off my boredom during this pandemic. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
