Since Magic Happens will debut at Disneyland soon. One cast member decided to share painting called "Parade & Show Timeline" which recaps Disneyland's previous daytime parades.

I actually remember seeing older videos of WDW and DL that featured Dodger and Oliver. They all disappeared sometime in the mid 1990s.

And speaking of Oliver & Company, Oliver alongside the other characters was featured in a couple French music videos by Anne Meson.








As a matter of fact, Oliver was last seen at Disneyland Paris (Then Euro Disney/Europ Disney Park) in 1992.

I just remember placing it in my bottom 5 Disney animated feature films list along with Black Cauldron, Atlantis and The Rescuers. Can’t remember the 5th. Technically I should have nostalgia for it yet I have none. It came out when I was 6 and I remember really digging “Why Should I worry” even from just the trailers on TV. Unfortunately as an adult the movie falls apart for me after that scene/song.

I haven’t seen the trailer yet.

Oh, I’d definitely put Oliver in the bottom 5, but even bottom tier Disney animation is better than stuff like Minions and Angry Birds and Care Bears.

And do check out the “Rumble” trailer. Get ready to not laugh at a single “joke.” And it looks like it was animated with 1990’s CGI computers. A Paramount release! 😃

Finally have a minute to sit down and share thoughts from my Disneyland trip this past Monday (2/24).

Got on Rise- my friend who's only been to Disneyland a handful of times in his life absolutely loved it. My other friends all thought it was neat, but not the greatest attraction Disney's done. The 'cannon dodge' finale wasn't working- the cannons were static. In a ride where each scene only has one or two physical effects, if anything is broken it becomes super obvious. Especially when it's supposed to be an emotional 'high point' for the attraction. I have more issues with the ride after the second time experiencing it, and I think I'll be content only riding it when my group wants too.

So great to finally get on real Space Mountain again. On two of the four times I rode it the audio was having issues (distorted speakers or silent speakers)- I wonder if it's time for these vehicles to start getting refurbished. After a few months of riding Hyperspace every couple days the normal attraction was a breath of fresh air, it's amazing how different the two experiences are.

Splash is in horrific shape. Brer Rabbit in the beehive is still missing (this has to be two months now) and there numerous other broken, missing, or static effects and figures throughout. The frogs in the 'how do you do' section have been missing for at least six months now. Really sad to see, and with the rumored cuts coming I don't think the ride's gonna get the love it deserves for the foreseeable future.

Indiana Jones Adventure is also in pitiful shape- so many broken effects throughout. The projection mapping that replaced the rotating doors wasn't working- and the main room had so many burned out lights and broken effects the experience was significantly lessened. Yeesh. At least it's getting refurbished in a couple months.

Both of these attractions are in worse shape now than they were this past fall.

The Plaza Inn Fried Chicken was absolutely delightful and is the shining star of the resort's current culinary offerings. May it never change or go away.

At $20 we chose to skip Maxpass. We got on everything we wanted and more, and honestly I don't see myself paying for the service in the future. At $10 it was a no brainer, at $15 it was still a hesitant 'yes', but $20 is extortion.

For some reason Disney insists on using Mickey's Mix Magic for it's nightly projection show. I would love for them to put together a new show to finally lay MMM to rest.
