Excellence? I mean they did a pretty good job (exterior aside) considering the restraints but excellence?
I do think it’s pretty excellent but yeah I was struggling to find a good way to say what I meant. Basically I just think it’s the last time they’ve actually hit the right emotions mostly through designing something well instead of through spending a lot of money.

Mission: Breakout’s quality likely comes from Joe Rohde being on the project.
Agreed, and I’ve only realized that after a bunch of what Disney’s done since then.

The guest behaviour on this last trip was absolutely appalling. I was SHOCKED at how badly people were behaving. It was straight up #NoParentsNoRules. I am no Karen and let a lot of things slide, but screaming obscenities on all the rides, flipping off the cameras, cutting lines, wearing shirts with offensive material on them, LIKE COME ON

Hmmm sounds like a Grad Nite Day. I usually try to avoid those.

This is why we can't have nice stuff.

Keeping an eye on this in case it does turn out to be true.

They won't go so far as to state the show that's being put in the theater, but they have said that they hear the new show is not Encanto nor Rogers the Musical.

Divisive? What’s the Wokest show they could put in there?

Behavior in general has become so discouraging the last two years. Unfortunately, as a high school teacher, the up and coming generation won't bring any reprieve unless they undergo a radical change between now and graduation.

I thought Disney was SO strict about this stuff, but I guess because they need the money, they're not going to turn people away or kick them out. It's very disappointing.

Fear and a lack of trust. They don’t trust their employees and they’re afraid of something being framed negatively.
And/Or...... I know it is taboo to blame cast members, but maybe it's just too many new cast members that lack the confidence in themselves (or managerial support) to actually enforce the rules?

Having a lot of institutional knowledge leave en masse is never a good thing at any workplace. Disneyland is no different.

Disney bending over backwards for problem guests is something that goes way back.

Sure, for the Karens and Chads and their precious little darlings. However, one of the complaints was about people wearing inappropriate tee shirts in the park. I don't remember that being a thing. In fact, I've read stories on this very board of people being asked to turn a shirt inside out before entering the park. And yelling racial slurs on rides? Really? I don't remember that either.

Yup, there was a guy I caught a photo of wearing a shirt that says "this is our F🇺🇲king country" going through security ahead of me and they said NOTHING.

I complained about the teenagers swearing and screaming on the ride and the cast members did absolutely nothing. I got a "sorry you were offended/ feel that way " kind of answer--home slice, THIS JS YOUR J O B, deal with it!!!
