People at Inside Universal keep saying the special effects buildings foundation is sliding down the hill so it needs to be replaced sooner or later
Could be legit, but it also reminds me of the people who have been saying, without basis, that Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point has been sinking for about 20 years.
I’m not a huge fan of SLOP even if it has one of the best acronyms. Welcome addition to the park but I’d rank every single dark ride at DLR above it.
As someone who hasn't been on the ride yet, I think it's exactly the ride USH needs. THAT SAID, it's negated by the fact that I'm worried about being walk of shamed on a FLIPPING DARK RIDE.
If ANYONE other than those with the most extreme possible body proportions cannot ride a dark ride, that is design failure.
I would LOVE a Universal Monsters area.
I'm a little surprised that there's so much hatred for the Simpsons area. It offers some decent counter service options for the park and it's nicer than what's in Orlando. It doesn't really fit with what's around it, but that's USH for you. That said, if it was to go away, I wouldn't MIND necessarily.
USH's Potter area is nice on its own, but it's a straight duplication of the original area, and all of the best Potter stuff is exclusive to Orlando at the moment (and weirdly, the
exact same rides duplicated for Hollywood are LESS accommodating in Hollywood than they are in FL even though the USH attractions are
newer). It would be nice if they could bring over more of those attractions, make the existing attractions more accommodating, and/or build something for Hollywood's area that is 100% distinct from (and not obviously lesser than) Florida's area. It would really help improve the area and/or HP IP usage IMO.
