A lot of planters haven't survived the 2017/18 purge of anything that takes up space in the walkways at Disneyland.

Removing this would allow quite a few more switchbacks, logistically it'd make sense. But historically and aesthetically? Getting rid of that planter would be blasphemy.

Bring back the original lawn!

The original lawns, landscaping and woods around the facade made it look much more like a secluded house in a wealthy neighborhood.

Now it looks more like an amusement park ride thanks to how close they built Splash Mountain next door, stroller parking, several large signs, obvious queues with fencing and switchbacks etc.

Something just worth noting, look at the planters outside the fence.

EDIT: I just noticed there are people on the other side of the fence where the queue is, but this is listed as "pre-opening" on Dave's site!

There was also no dopey pet cemetery out front. Even the horseless carriage which is charming by itself ruins the presentation.
