How does one go about getting Blue Bayou reservations anyway? Try at midnight 60 days before? I haven’t been there in about 7 years. I’m due.
In theory, that's the correct process; in reality, reservations drop pretty randomly.

I use MouseDining's free tier and set up an alert for when reservations drop for a particular date. It's how I managed to get Blue Bayou reservations for the Saturday after Thanksgiving (also will be the first time I'll be at BB in a while).

Yeah, I think that's the way to do it. Not really even on my radar to be honest. Did it a couple times and it was fine, I'd rather spend less or roughly the same amount to eat at Flemings or Morton's TBH.

Don't know how I missed this story over the Summer, but just the fact Efteling had a ride where guests spin around in a tribal cannibal's cauldrons is hilarious.

Also, this character design is just insane. Efteling's character designs are generally pretty crazy but this one has to take the cake for wildest.

Thank goodness this ride has been rethemed. The new Sinbad ship theme is much more in line with the park’s atmosphere.

Oh my gosh, I’m replaying the first Kingdom Hearts game and... way back in 2002 this game predicted the arrival of the Bobs!!!

Are we really better off without fastpasses? Standby lines look to be about what they were pre pandemic when MaxPass/ Fastpass was still around. The walkways don’t seem any less crowded either. And all of this is with reservations that may or may not be limiting how many guests are getting into the park. Only difference is now you don’t get to run past the standby line for Space and Splash Mountain. I said it before but losing fastpass is a loss for annual pass holders and a win for tourists/ day guests who are more likely to splurge on genie + etc. For anyone not willing to splurge, it’s a loss.

I couldn't get the park wifi to work until the last day. I had zero cell phone service for almost the entire trip. How do they think Genie + is even going to work if their wifi goes out? DLR is a notorious dead zone for service.

So what’s the deal with Star Tours? Disneyland is packed and it’s still only averaging 15 minute waits. I’m guessing it’s a combination of GE being more of a priority for Star Wars fans, the not so great reception of Rise of Skywalker and just the fact that Star Wars IP is kind of in a lull outside of Mandalorian which hasnt aired a new episode in almost a year.

Or is the ride system just not exciting to folks anymore? Star Tours was pretty much non existent to me until they did the Rise of Skywalker version which I thought was the most cohesive and best version of the ride since the Original with Rex. I also feel like it just has more motion and is more thrilling than some of the other versions. It’s also a favorite of my son right now so it’s shot way up my list. With that said, the future is not looking very bright for Star Tours. 15 minute wait times while the park is crowded? If it stays like this, I can’t see it surviving a TL Redo. So in short, Star Tours fans have nothing to worry about.

Star Tours is one of my faves. I can't ride anything screen-based because I get sick/ vertigo-- other than Star Tours. My 4-year-old niece rode it when we were there a few weeks ago and was obsessed with it. She's never seen Star Wars, she has no context for it whatsoever, not a single touchstone for the characters, and she LOVES it. The random little kid who sat next me riding it for the first time screamed his head off the entire time asked to get back in line immediately after it ended. It only had about a 15-20 minute wait for much of my last visit, but it shot up to 35 at one point. Space Mountain was walk on nearly the entire time I was there, though.

And people claim that Splash Mountain is racsit?
Efteling is one of the best parks in the world, but these are the same people who are clinging to Zwarte Piet like it's an ancient solemnity when it's only been around about 100 years. :( Their version of small world is also a That's What I Call YIKES.

Honestly it’s time to either go back to a retro Star Tours ‘87 or go full blown Mandalorean inspired. Right now in its current state it’s too derivative of Galaxy’s edge which is already sequel trilogy heavy.

I've only been twice since the closure, both on saturdays. Here's my experience:

Space Mountain/Indy 35 minutes all day
Other rides 5-20 minutes all day
Haunted Mansion/Holiday: Sometimes 30 minutes, but usually "13 minutes"

New Orleans Square and Main St never felt crowded to me.

What I remember from the Fastpass Days:
Space Mountain 90-120 Minutes
Indiana Jones 45-60 minutes
Haunted Mansion Holiday:60 minutes
Star Tours: 40 minutes

I especially felt the difference of lack of FP in Disney World.

One time was in May right with limited capacity right? So we cant count that one. When was the second time? Wait times at the park the past few weeks have been pretty bad and that’s before genie +. I think your wait time for Space Mountain was the extreme high end. I think the average was 60-90. But closer to 60
