Waited standby for IASW yesterday and that new Q addition is very tastefully done! Lots of trees and shade and just pleasant. When those Jacarandas mature it ll be even nicer. There is still a little landscaping that needs to be done next to the facade (a lot of dirt) but really good job. Also rode Dumbo and wow what a difference with the wider switchbacks and tents overhead. Dumbo just pops in a way that it never has and the pink/ purple color scheme is very pleasing to the eye. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about is all the different colors/ textures on the ground in the FL courtyard in that area. 2 different types of cobble stone (?) and now that new blue pattern cement next to Dumbo all within a few feet from each other.

Anyway, Both the Dumbo and IASW changes will greatly enhance guest experience, especially in the summer. Now they just got work on that blue wall facing Storybookland.

Has anyone noticed that they seem to be going for a unifying color scheme of red, brown tan and gold between Pixar Pier, the Cadillac mountain range and the GOTG Tower? I noticed this walking from Paradise Park (eye roll) along the main corridor to the park exit. Doesn’t seem to just be a coincidence.

Also has that water splash zone in front of Mermaid / WOC viewing area always been there ?

Tying areas together with a unifying color scheme is nothing new. Those particular colors can either pop or help to blend things into the background, in my opinion.

Yes, at least in the last 5 years I've been watching WOC.

Tombstone's screenwriter also wanted to direct, but he had never done so before. As a result the shoot got out of control and the studio eventually fired him. Another director was hired as a replacement in the middle of filming, but many have said that Kurt Russell took over to keep things moving, as he'd been on the film since day one and knew what was needed.

You must be Mission: Breakout. The longest line in DCA since Radiator Springs Racers they say. What do you think, darlings? Should I hate it?
