Maybe he thought the cornbread outside was like a bun in a regular hotdog.

He was never trained how to eat a corndog properly. It was your duty as an American, hell as a Disney fan, to train him right...

Lol I thought about it. But he was speaking nearly fluent English (with a moderate middle eastern accent) with his young daughter or niece. My take was that it had less to do with culture and more to do with some weird personal habit he picked up.

Forgot to respond to your first comment... No, he was holding that thing like a hammer. No fingers. All hands.

I would have at least walked by and said "Hey you know the stick is there so you can hold it while eating"...

Then the guy responds in his Brooklyn accent "Oh yeah? Well I'm thinking about jamming this corn dog somewhere, and here's a clue; it aint pretty for you."

Yesterday at the park I saw a grown man eating a corn dog in the most bizarre way. Just holding the actual dog with his big man paw. It was very disturbing watching the stick being unused and him trying to find a spot to bite without chewing his fingers off. Seriously guys, 16 hours later and I’m still disturbed.

Like I would love to have a sit down interview this man. I’m fascinated by that decision and I need to understand the psychology, background and life experience that led him to hold a corn dog in this most repulsive, horrifying and unappetizing way.

Watching people chew in public is one of the most disgusting things you will ever see.
