Another nearby to the DLR location?

Probably a great location, especially for the Hospital workers and Very close to 3 freeways? It's won't be the closest to DL though...isn't that the State College and Ball location? Sadly that wasn't there during my 14 years in Anaheim.

There is also the Brookhurst and Orange location.

Or north on Harbor to Orangethorpe

I always see Tomorrowland CMs at the Brookhurst and Orange location

I remember a few years back going to that In N Out after a day at the park. There was a table of Space Mountain CM's in full costume complaining about guests for the day.

Which is well within their right to do- but it makes me wish Disney still forced every CM to check in/out their costume every shift and change on property. When I went through traditions a year ago, the trainer said that you just have to take off your nametag when not at work, since that's what 'distinguishes you as a Disneyland employee to the public'... like, no- it's the iconic costumes that anyone in the area would recognize.

While working there it became obvious that a day at Disneyland is just to darn complicated now for those who don't follow everything to understand. Fastpass, Maxpass, Dining packages, EMH, mobile apps, etc.. and that the entry level CM's eventually get tired of trying to explain all this to guests.

And on top of that, WDW is far worse and more complicated than DLR in every respect.

I truly pity those who go for the first time and have no idea what they're getting into.

We’ve probably talked about this before, I always get the feeling that management is more lax at dlr compared to wdw. California vibe? I can see it being nice in some ways, but in others it can really break the magic. We were always under the threat of being “termed” if we were caught wearing our costume anywhere in public but our location out there. Granted it would still happen, but I think I’ve seen it way more here and it’s not like I live down the street from dlr as I did from wdw

We definitely have talked about this. Yep- Anaheim doesn't care at all about keeping costumes within their designated land/attraction. I've seen Cars Land costumed people walking through Adventureland.

My least favorite? Costumed employees chilling at the pickup/drop off zone on Harbor with the guests. Again, well within their right to do so- but not a good look if we're trying to sell Disneyland as a 'show' with them as a 'cast'.
