I was sitting next to “Reylo’s” that were ecstatic! John Boyegas tweet sums it up

While I often agree with his Twitter posts, I honestly think John Boyega's vocal criticism of Lucasfilm and the new films comes across as childish and ungrateful. It's also career suicide.

He was given an opportunity every actor in the world would kill for- and each of the films were box office successes despite their many flaws. Professionally I feel that disagreements with the creative direction of a project should be kept behind the scenes and not published online for the world to see.

His 'They're not gonna Disney Plus me' sums up his conceded attitude towards all this.

Yeah he might be mentally checked out from Star Wars but Disney owns way too much these days. Maybe he gets a pass since Lucasfilm retweeted him over these protests

I mean , what was with that anyway?
It was cringe-worthy and completely nonsensical, that's what it was. Truth be told, I laughed really hard and said to my husband, "See, now if Luke had just found Ben a nice Jedi girlfriend, this whole mess could have been avoided!".

I have SO MANY thoughts about this final trilogy, but they all boil down to two things for me:
  1. They obviously did not have a plan for this trilogy AT ALL.
  2. For better or worse, the first 6 movies are about the journey of Anakin Skywalker. You know, the chosen one, meant to bring balance to the force. This last trilogy could have been great if Disney understood that. Alas.....
But they put JJ "Lost isn't about purgatory" Abrams in charge, so we shouldn't be surprised it would end up being much ado about nothing with a total hack ending. Oh well.

There’s no way the Lost Boys wouldn’t be flying around too if it all it took was a happy thought and pixie dust.

Do any of the other TV shows address the mass amnesia in the Galaxy regarding the Jedi? Greef would have been an adult when Palpatine was declared Emperor.
A lot of fans point out that there were only 10,000 Jedi throughout the galaxy at their peak, and that their force powers were largely unknown. I don’t buy that with Greef or Mando unless season 2 adds something

For anyone born after the Republic fell, the Empire suppressed all knowledge on the force/Jedi and killed all the force sensitive kids they could find. Only a select few in the emperors circle knew of his powers too
