This isn't the Titanic forum.
The Netflix "Lost in Space" reboot-- Does anyone actually want to see a serious take on that show? People remember it fondly for its campiness and the Will/Robot/Dr. Smith comedy! If this show doesn't have a giant talking carrot man and Space Hillbillies, I'm not interested!
I feel the same way when I watch 90's shows and think...this wouldn't have been a problem if someone just had a cell phone. But if that were the case, all shows would have lasted about a minute.Lost in Space like Gilligan's Island always had me baffled as a kid. If you just killed Dr. Smith or Gilligan all your troubles would have been over? But then again, so would the show lol.
Isn't that the plot line of every Seinfeld?I feel the same way when I watch 90's shows and think...this wouldn't have been a problem if someone just had a cell phone. But if that were the case, all shows would have lasted about a minute.
Basically! Though Seinfeld is my favorite show...cell phones would have ruined it.Isn't that the plot line of every Seinfeld?
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!I prefer the 1998 LIS movie with Matt Leblanc and Gary Oldman.
I am down for LIS as long as Billy Mumy has a role!
Whilst we're on this topic, any Lost in Space fans (or haters) should check out this wonderful, wonderful test reel/pitch for an unproduced ANIMATED Lost in Space series using the original archive voice tracks. Be to watch it all the way to the end; it keeps getting better (and fully animated) and ends with a hilarious go-go dancing update of the famous opening credit sequence.

The only reason I ever watched that show was for Dr. Smith. I wonder who will portray him in the new version.
