Disney should create a version of Soarin' for Hollywoodland where you disrupt celebrity tadoos and shindigs by buzzing down and flying right over the heads of the assembled "beautiful people" as they dive into punch bowls and fall into wedding cakes. Sort of an aerial Mr. Toad. :D

Why are Disney Worlds annual passes so much cooler than ours?

Why is Disney World getting Tron, Ratatouille, a new Skyway, Slinky Dog, Mickey's Runaway Railway and a Guardians coaster.... and we're getting Poopy Pier?

You left out a couple of fabulous new hotels and all kinds of cool FREE mobile tech to make the guest experience smoother. For the most part Disneyland still operates like it's 1985.

But we have longer pathways leading into Star Wars Land. Lol. But seriously, considering the comparable attraction counts for each resort, we don’t have much to complain about. Except TOT, there’s that.

Oh, I much prefer DLR's attracton roster. But there's no denying that Pixar Pier felt like a real bottom-tier consolation prize at the last D23. ("Thanks for coming, West-coasters! Enjoy your lovely parting gifts of Underwood Deviled Ham and Trident Gum!")

Patience, I have a feeling something is on the horizon after SW:GE opens. TL redo perhaps, maybe FL expansion, TT overhaul with MRR, Marvel in DCA, who knows. WDW is getting everything this time because of their 50th. DLR is going to get its due soon. Have faith....

LOL! Not to mention that a 2 park Disneyland AP now costs twice what a 4 park WDW AP costs. Makes you wonder what the heck Disneyland is doing with all that money besides building SW Land. Oh wait, WDW is getting that too.

I’ll you what they re doing with that $$$. Constantly bailing out all the underperforming parks while they continue to milk us So Cal locals for all we we re worth because we grew up with Disneyland, we re hooked and it’s part of the culture out here.

The Taj Mahal scene in the new Soarin' film is completely CGI because they were not allowed to fly in the area to film the Taj Mahal. Why didn't they just choose something else?
I thought that they were allowed, but when they arrived, the air was too polluted?

You have to wonder about a lot of the decisions they made.

Why did the amount of movement get reduced so dramatically? Did lots of people report nausea? Was the reason to save on wear and tear? Were they incompetent enough to not study the original film?

WDW has been dormant for years. In many ways it feels older than DLR. They are starting to make up for lost time.

Both stateside parks fund the international parks and increasingly what keep Disney's stock from tanking with ESPN faltering.

Good point. That'll all change though if Disney's new streaming service goes as well as planned. Considering how much incredible studio content Disney owns now + ESPN + whatever they inherit from the 20th Century Fox acquisition, ESPN's current cable revenue may look like peanuts in comparison in a few years.

So who's fault is that? ;)
