Agreed. For me, projections are fine as long as they're effective and aren't used in place of something that would work better.

That’s a good way to put it ... “something that would work better.” There is no way they could achieve what they did in Shanghai’s POTC without projections. Sure their could be more AAs but the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Well maybe they are when you consider the budget.

The important thing is the end result. Do people exit the ride feeling exhilarated or cheated? I think Universal might have realized they crossed the line with Kong at IoA. All that build-up and elaborate queue... and then you get movie screens and one bored-looking kong head.

Kong looks terrible! Exactly ... all that build up for nothing. Did they run out of money in the process?

I just watched a recent video of the DL HM and the ghost fruit has returned. Why didn't anyone tell me? I gotta go there right now.

I went a few weeks ago and it wasn’t on. They better be careful though, that damn effect is so charming that if you bottled up all thAt charm it would be enough energy to destroy earth.

I’m in a Disneyland food rut. So much that we ve been venturing further and further into DTD. Catal actually has some pretty good fish tacos and carnitas arepas appetizer. But at DL, I’m finding myself lost these days. Kind of burnt out on the fried chicken and corn dogs. A little help please.

Thanks for the recommendations. What do you get at Cafe Orleans? I’ve only eaten there once. Got the shrimp po’ boy. It was just ok.

havent actually eaten there. Kitchen was down on the quick service end and the line wasn90 minutes for table under the umbrellas. Hungry bear is a hit and the riverbelle terrace is back. Mainly just reminding you you have options, eben though most are table service. Dca has the chinese new year celebration so a lot of extra food options over in paradise garden area. Golden vine winery has good food and there is variety in the wharf.

I must say, when I go to disneyland, since Im not an AP, its a marathon. But I am curious about table service dining on main street, and if not, still would like to spend a day down there where I can kill an hour in that environment on a meal.

At some point it would be awesome if you could pick me up a Cosmo at GOTG. The Easter bunny is thinking of getting it for my son. So I can send money first, we have plenty of time.
