So what you're really saying is that Project Stardust is not the doom and gloom charm ending project that some were saying it was... ;)
Just like the Rivers of America redo wasn't "ruining Walt's river".

I'll be the first to admit that when Disney screws up, they screw up (Pixar Pier, Mission Breakout, Redd...) but Project Stardust and the castle redo were really well-done, and something that I'd like to see more of in the park.

I agree I would also like to see more of this in the parks as well.

For Pixar Pier, MB, and Redd, I appreciate what they were trying to do stylistically but agree the execution was not to be desired.

As long as there are planters to be removed and curbs to be flattened Disneyland will never be complete.

And furthermore, I can’t remember the last time Disney announced anything that was either exciting or seemed like a great idea. Unfortunately, I don’t think they’re going to be that kind of a company anymore. At least to most Disney theme park fans that aren’t obsessed with IP.
So just curious, you didn't find the Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway announcement at least interesting?

^^^^ I’ll answer that question.

I personally didn’t find the announcement interesting. For one, it had been STRONGLY rumored months and month prior to it being announced, with evidence popping up that seemed to back the rumor up. Secondly, it’s a hand-me-down. Thirdly, I’m just not overly excited about the overall ride in general.
Yes, but at least its not Star Wars or Marvel...

I don’t know a lot about this because I literally took a several month break from Disney recently. But I did see a headline or two about it. I think this is better than a Marvel meet and greet or Tron coaster coming, and I’m sure it’ll be a fun little ride, but it’s not the kind of thing I’d be clamoring to get to the parks for. I hate how they’re cloning everything now. Give me a reason to visit all your parks individually. I’ll take this over a lot of things though.

Except the issue with that is that not everyone has the ability to take trips to all the different parks individually. But I get your point.

I wouldn’t be completely excited unless they announced something along the lines of a Matterhorn, POTC, HM, Splash, etc. Those are all classics that’ll last forever, not because they’re based off of the pop culture at the time they were built, but because they’re really fun, well done rides. It won’t happen though.
