Tarzan’s Jungle Adventure Meet and Greet
First, we redo the Swiss Family Treehouse, turning it into an essential replica of DL’s Tarzan’s Treehouse. These have always been advertised as an elaborate queue with no attraction at the end. Well now the attraction is this immersive one-of-a-kind meet and greet
Story
This is Tarzan’s treehouse! Of course you’re going to meet him and all of his jungle friends here. If the characters are at their meet and greet spot, then the sign out front will say Tarzan is home, and if not it will say Tarzan is out with Jane/Terk/Tantor
Theme
Back to ground level after exploring Tarzan’s treehouse you will be walking along a walkway completely enclosed by jungle greens and overflow. The path forks, one leading to the exit, one to our new meet and greet (obviously marked). Taking the left path to our new meet and greet area you will continue to feel lost among jungle greens when you come upon a large square area covered by the canopy of trees, surrounded by shrubs, trees and greens. Here in the background of where the characters stand there will be a small creek running through with Tantor the Elephant as a set piece AA spewing water out of his trunk whenever guests are near (for perfect photo-ops). While in this area you will feel like you are in the center of the jungle no feeling of being in the middle of the magic kingdom. Excessive and exaggerated vines hanging down are a must.
Characters
The characters present will be the convenient to photograph with Tantor, real life characters of Tarzan, Jane, and Professor Porter. With Tarzan and Jane swinging in on vines of course. There will also be a fur character of Terk also swinging in as any gorilla would do.
Concept Art
Meet and Greet Area (Please excuse the quality, even on photoshop I can’t draw) - http://forums.wdwmagic.com/picture.php?albumid=755&pictureid=8685
Aerial view (how things will work space-wise) - http://forums.wdwmagic.com/picture.php?albumid=755&pictureid=8686 (the new creek is what holds tantor and adds to the overall atmosphere)
