Sorry for not being more of a contributor during this round. I won't bore you with the details, but between a wedding, a theater season opening, and a summer camp to get ready to run... I think I might be too busy for these team events. If I am eliminated, as I am sure I'm in the bottom 2, I won't complain. I will say though, that I am much more interested in working on individual projects, as I feel that working together on these via a message board is really frustrating and often leaves those of us who get busy from time to time unable to really contribute. Whereas the individual events really let you work on something autonomously and thus on your own schedule.
Thank you both for a great projects.

TrevorA and I will be talkign about the eliminees... I will be notifying them ASAP, and they will have 12 hrs to get back to me with results, BUT it think it might be apparent, without explaination.

This will be quick and painless, both eliminees are being eliminated for the same reason: not turning in your parts of the project, im sorry to say Kermitdefrog, and Tazer19, it pains me to do this, but you have been eliminated from The Imagineer. Kermit even though you posted it, it was THIS MORNING and almost 12 hours after the due time.
I must say that both team leaders did a great job leading their repsective teams. Now you two teams, will be the same for the next project, so be sure to choose a team leader, it can be anyone.

mater, although i know this became a double elimination, will there still be a judging on the overall work?
i know it was a joint effort, but there was still some team driven competition, for each to design their own part.
just wanted to know if you guys decided to forgo an actual judging because of teh double elimination.

That was very good, but a few things:
- VERY disappointed that 2 teammates did not contribute at all, such a lame elimination. Oh well.
- I got a GREAT vibe with this whole resort, mainly because I'm a water fountain geek (Can't wait for WoC!)
- Who did the monorail aqueduct? It was fabulous!
- I wish the show had some more detail...

I agree with DisneySon, this was arguably the best effort you guys have put forth so far. I'm really proud of everyone that contributed to the final product. Personally, as a DVC member, I would absolutely love to stay at your resort. The atmosphere felt so tranquil, so peaceful. The Roman theme was top notch, and it fit perfectly in the Bay Lake roster. And I wish I could promote the genius who came up with the monorail station! My only request for next time would be this: your final post should have been a little more organized, I felt like I was jumping back and forth between Vacation Club and Regular Resort. It could've been already set up like that, but there was no way for me to tell.
Otherwise, great job. Round one has been a little bit of a bumpy ride, but you guys made it through. Good luck in the next project!

Im finally here with my comments
OVerall i was plesantly surprised, like every other challenge, you are all getting better and better. And both Chronymous and WDWVactioner were GREAT team leaders. I must say i was a bit apprehensive while you were brainstorming, and im glad you went with a location (as most DVC/Deluxe are locations) and not a franchise... (shutters at thought of Marvel...PS i dont like Marvel ) Once you thought of a Roman theme i was in love, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE the name, its different, yet easy to understand. Next time have BOTH projects posted TOGETHER to be a more cohesive read for the audience. Because as Trevor said, it seems a bit jumpy in some points.
Ok, now to the individual teams. (NOTE i really dont have anything bad to say )
Chip n Dales Imagineering Rangers--Chronymous
I must start by saying.. BRAVO to Stitchcastle, i love your drawings, great to finally see them come out. I love the subtlties of the 'disney' influences, but it is still elegant. Personally, in delxluxe hotels i dont like BLANTANT disney references, so i love the hidden mickeys and the elegant uses of Mickey. Neptune's pool was a great idea, and i love the three different slides that are 'covered' up. Personally, i DONT like the gladiator fight, well.... its not that i dont like it, i just dont like it in the hotel, i can see it as its own entity (ie Buffalo Bills in DLRP's Disney Village, or Arabian Nights in Orlando), but not part of the hotel. Great studio drawings Chronymous. (sorry to other members, for not "acknowledging you" but i dont know the specifics, but i know that Chrony and Stitch did drawings. The ONLY thing im disappointed in was the NO RESTAURANT (even though kermit posted one, it doesnt count)

OVerall, great job, having different, yet similar theming to the DVC and it continues it as a whole, great job. I love the lobby area, great job with references and statues. I wouldnt really consider the Aqueducts a "feature" but well done. I can tell you that when i read it in thebrainstorm i was excited, and thought OH! great way to conseale the Monorail, and it seems that you did it Great job on restaurants, themed greatly (appropriate for QS and then for Sit Down), and great menus.

first, i want to say, i know my part played int his wasnt very apparent, but I have to say i worked behind the scenes in this one. once i got my task, i started pm'ing with kermit about what we wanted, as well as sending my final post to chron.
anyway, that said, i really want to say i'm flattered all the judges really loved my monorail station. i was proud of it, sure, but didnt realize it's be recieved that well. thanks for the praise
as for the lack of restuarants for the dvc, i take responsibility. we had several good ideas, but I'm more of an initial idea guy, and once i had those, thats as far as i went. I focused on my gladiator show more, because i'm a big fan of those kind of eating experiences. i do understand the judges comments on that as well; i didnt develop it enough (what can i say, i'm not the best in script or food choices) beyond the initial great idea. a note on it: I had meant for it to be open to all, but give the dvc members a special point to being so. in all, thats why the restaurants sort of failed past that one for our team.

yeah, the design for the over-all DVC called for at least one restaurant and one separate bar, the west wing of the reception area is dedicated entirely to a restaurant.

First, sorry for my extended absence. I had a flare up of a pre-existing condition and ended up in the hospital Saturday morning and just got home. I tried messing around on my phone to update everyone but obviously didn't have much sucess. I completely understand not being in the game any longer.
Second, good luck to everyone from here on out. I'm looking forward to following along to the end.
