*shakes head* I am sitting here at 12:30am about to go to bed now this? I mean really we need to set up something so if lightning strikes twice (something tells me it will) the word can go out because you know even I had to walk I would have been there. There are so many things that don't add up but we need to keep our eyes open because I don't want to miss this when it happens again. I really don't know if I can sleep now.

WOW! Disney actually listened.

Well I was hoping for the miracle of they realized their own stupidity closing it in the first place. But for now it was one night & like I said during a weekend where an event is going on. So did they do it for the marathon just for today or can we expect it tomorrow night to cover the whole weekend? One thing is for sure Disney won't say a word when this will happen again because we all know what that would cause. (the word panic & a large amount of people comes to mind) :animwink: Well I am going to try to get to sleep but we need to stay on top of this in case tomorrow night happens (or any time else) so nobody is left out of the loop.

Sounds like a special event that was already announced for Jan. I suspect others, including "" are well aware of that. I wouldn't get too exited about it lest you end up disappointed again ...but I could be wrong.

If knows this is a special event only, then Disney should take away the "press credential" they just gave them for misrepresenting what this is.

I asked one of my bud's who is a CM at Downtown Disney, and I asked him to go check up Adventures Club on break and he found it open, and with extra 'normal shows' like the library show. During special booked events at AC, they don't have Library shows, so this is definitely different. :veryconfu

If they were letting anyone through the doors perhaps they have changed their minds. Very bizarre.:veryconfu

Perhaps Mr Rohde finally had had enough.

Do we know if it stayed open till 2 like normal? Is there a chance that it will be open again tomorrow? I have to work until 8. I will be there if it is. Heck, I might just go check it out just in case.

The fact that there was live entertainment is making me wonder. There hasn't been any in months. I cannot wait for the pictures and a full report from the guy who went.

I found this in the Save the Adventurers Club Facebook group while I was scouring the net for information about tonight:

Walked past the Club last night and was surprised to see some nice outdoor refurbishments. The lamp in the ferns that had been broken for as long as I can remember was repaired and the ferns cut back around it. Also the sarcophagus near the door had it's overhead spot repaired and is sitting pretty in it's now more-visible state.

Now why would Disney be repairing fixtures if most of the private events have already been held? Let us optimistically ponder...

Perhaps things are looking up? Or maybe I should try to go to sleep...

Wow, someone has a grudge. Nothing was misrepresented. Even if it is a private party, the club is more open then it has been since it closed, and as far as my knowledge goes, nobody has yet confirmed that this is a private party. Maybe we should find out before you accuse someone for misinformation.

Exactly my point.

He's currently staying at All Star Movies and is on wireless internet, which isn't the fastest. They'll be uploaded soon.

Just to clarify a few things, and yes I represent that site hopefully since its already been brough up Steve won't mind me clarifying a few things. We did have a staff member at the Adventure's Club tonight he got in without being asked if he was a part of a group. There were library shows of some sort going on (this has not been happening as a part of private events). Also, we are told there were cast members directing people to the AC agian not asking if they were a part of group "XYZ". We are assuming with the high capicity levels due to the marathon and other factors someone deicded to open the AC. Please understand we would never report anything we know to not be true. If and when we get more details on this development we will report them on our site as soon as we can. I hope that clarifies our report, I for one am excited that the AC is getting some use no matter for how short a time.
