Good morning everyone!!!!:sohappy: It's Friday and a cool 48 degrees here. It will go up to 70 today though. Supossed to rain later today which is ok if it holds off until after my students go home at 1:00. We CAN NOT miss playground time. That's like sanity time for us teachers. :lol:

It looks as if our recent days of "October's bright blue weather" are over. There are quite a few clouds around, now that the sun is starting to rise. (As much as I dislike it getting dark at 6PM, it will be nice to see the sun before I drive to school; right now, it's rising as I'm driving east, blinding me.)

Today is a Teacher Planning day at my son's school, so he's sleeping in. We're going on an historic cemetary tour later, and then (perhaps) to the fair. Public schools are in session, so it shouldn't be crowded.

Then he's spending the night at a friend's house, my husband is covering a HS football game, my next door neighbor's husband is still out of town, so it's Girl's Night Out! :sohappy:

Its 36 here and I don't even want to look outside. The last of my summer flowers have finally died away.

I hate fall clean up.

I know most of ours have died also but now our hampton daisy's are blooming so at least they look pretty.

Well, I have coffee, but no goodies. Another GORGEOUS day in NE Florida. I'd work in the yard, but the house painters are starting Monday (so they say) so they'll make a mess of everything anyway. I'll wait until they're finished.

Guess I'd better run errands; the herps need crickets and worms.

Looks like we are going to have some rain today...its 57 degrees and very windy, overcast and damp. My phone line got hit with a 100 lb branch and we're having some troubles...phones aren't working too well, internet is in and out. Can't wait for the repairman to arrive.
