The Girl Thread

Also, one more thing and I probably don't have to tell you this and I don't want to sound like your mother/father....but always remember one thing:

DO NOT do what you will regret down the road. Don't go into a relationship looking for s*x, money or things of that nature as they won't work out for you (usually) in the end. I've been told that virgins these days before marriage are a rare breed, so treasure it, save it for that special day. It makes me feel good to be in this "breed," but at the same time it bothers me to know that so many people are out there wanting s*x and end up getting a kid, an STD or something else that wasn't wanted.

So be safe in your find and hopefully you find the perfect girl....I'm sure glad I finally have! :D

I'm dating a virgin right now. (I'm one as well) They definitely are hard to find, especially an attractive girl. People are too careless about s*x. It is very dangerous and comes with heavy consequences. I don't mind people having s*x, I just hope that they are smart about it.

Yeah, the ugly girls have nothing to worry about

Seriously though, it's nice to see kids your age with level heads. I'm not much older than you, but going around my old high school and seeing the seniors there, it seems we are generations apart or something.

So that makes four now that I know who are all in the same breed!

We are awesome! (No offense to those that don't agree with my choice)

STR8, don't let anyone pressure you into doing it no matter what they say, if you do it remember down the road that it was something you don't regret.

I've known too many people that had their "one night stands" and now really regret it because when they went to get married they felt guilty as not having it with their spouse.

Yay!!!!!!!! There are four of us!!! Seriously, it's sad to hear about the kids that get drunk, and when they wake up, they don't know who they had ______ with.

That's one of my biggest pet peeves. And the thing is, my older brother (just turned 21 at the beginning of this year) seems to have a new girl with him every night. He goes to clubs a lot and loves talking and bragging to everyone what he has done. What has this world come to, does no one have any morals anymore?

But of course the whole point of this thread is that GIRLS are the shallow ones  ;)

Hey, in high school I had like a 4.3 GPA

It kind of dropped now in college but I'm still doing well

Regina...people like us don't count...it would be an unfair to those who went to normal highschools...lol...:animwink:

My Highschool GPA: 4.4 or was it 4.5...doesn't mean S#%t...Now at the Univ thats a different story...my laziness seems to have caught up with me...its not 3.8.... *sigh* :lookaroun

(GPAs don't matter...sometimes they are a testament of someones suck-up skills...sometimes they're not...there are many forms of intelligence)

As for chicks...I'll take the intelligent, compassionate, fun loving and funny chick...over the shallow, bimbo, who looks like shes selling herself at the corner (sure she's fun to go out with...real fun...but not to spend the rest of my life with though... :lookaroun )....

Besides the can be added on later...a mod if you will... :p  :lookaroun

For every girl who's out for looks and muscles, you'll find a guy who's out for big boobies and a tiny waist.

It's a two-way street

Agree with you 100%...

Never went to High School, as they don't have them in the UK

However the equivalent school I went to was all male, so I can't comment from that perspective.

As a generalisation I've found the average bloke is after you know what and the average girl seem to have a magnetic interest in the bad boy who treats her badly  I look for above average though ;)

Glad to hear a lot of the folk here are not just rushing into a relationship for a quick leg over or because it's the thing to do - be seen with someone on your arm.

As for love, I'll dig out my favourite quote from Raymond E Feist:

"There are many ways to love someone. Sometimes we want love so much, we're not too choosy about who we love. Other times, we make love such a pure and noble thing, no poor human can ever meet our vision. But for the most part, love is a recognition, an opportunity to say, "There is something about you I cherish." It doesn't entail marriage, or even physical love. There's love of parents, love of city or nation, love of life, and love of people. All different, all love."

The muscles, the tan, the hair gel, etc... None of that really matters. What matters is your confidence and self esteem. If you believe in yourself, others will pick up on that. If you don't, others will pick up on that also.

I remember (barely) way back in High School. Girls and guys all wanted the same thing, to go out with the prettiest or most popular of the opposite gender. You'll find as you get older that looks start to play a very small role in what folks are looking for. Looks might start that initial attraction but that's not what keeps them around. What keeps them around are all the other qualities everyone has talked about.

You'll also find that being confident and feeling good about yourself makes you more attractive to the opposite gender. I've seen guys who were not very attractive get plenty of dates because they were confident or just didn't care if the answer was "no". Most importantly don't be afraid to ask a girl out. The worst that she could say is "no".

I knew this girl when I was in the Navy who was beautiful, inside and out, but she married the biggest jerk in the world. After they divorced someone asked her why she married him in the first place. She said it was because he was the only one who ever asked her out. She actually thought she was ugly because she never got asked out. It was just the opposite. She was so pretty all the guys were either afraid of rejection or figured she had a boyfriend. Go figure.

I've personally gone from power lifter (muscles) in my late 20's, runner (slim build) in my mid thirties, to chunky monkey at 43 and you know what. No of that mattered. If I'm feeling good about myself women are attracted if I'm not they aren't. People pick up on your feelings and perception of yourself and it affects they way they feel about you.

Sorry for the long post. Hope it helps.

Take Care,

A sense of humor and kindness is soooo much more important than looks. Don't pay attention to those muscle crazy girls. They'll end up with a muscle man that treats them badly.

muscles...all the better to beat you with (but he beats me because he loves me  )

Hey! Yes it does count

I don't think college classes counted right? Oh well...I'm in the same boat where my GPA dropped

Anyway.....

muscles...all the better to beat you with (but he beats me because he loves me )

So sad how true that is :(

Back when I was young and single and interested in girls, there was only ONE thing that a girl absolutely had to have if she was going to go out with me . . .

. . .extraordinarily bad taste.
