I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but age and foolishness do not necessarily go hand-in-hand!

 ;) :p

I should clarify... being a blue-collar man, he does have the muscles as a nice little side package

But I did not find out until after I'd fallen. Bonus! He can make jokes, help elderly women acrosssuper the street, AND lift heavy appliances with one hand! LOL :king:
Damn you married

There's a large group of guys at my school, who have the big hair, always wearing striped shirts, tan shorts, and those girl tan leather shoes with no laces. I mean, come on guys, those are GIRLS shoes! Anyway, these guys have low IQs, and they all have girl friends. Their girlfriends all look the same, you can tell that the girls just went for the guys looks. You are constantly seeing them hugging their GFs, and holding hands, when it really isn't true love! Its annoying!

I do sort of like this one girl that I know at my school. We sat next to each other last year in art class, and she's really funny and has a great personality. But wouldn't ya know, this year I have NO classes with her! Isn't it always the way? :brick:

I know it's been mentioned, but thought I'd throw my 2 cents in anyway

Guys can be just as shallow as girls. I've seen plenty of both, rejected by guys I liked because I wasn't up to their standard, nice guys rejected by girls because they weren't up to the "standard" of hotness.

I know someone is out there who will like me for me and won't care that I don't look like a beauty queen. And maybe he'll appreciate the natural assets I have :lookaroun

Just kidding

The way I put it is I have never gone out or even wanted to date a guy that had all the muscles....to me it means either two things...they are vain about themselves and their body....or they dont have the smarts or really good personality to get a girl so they gotta get the muscles to get the girl. I mean I look at it now and all the guys that I went to high school like that arent very far in life and have gotten either a little or quite over weight, as for me I stayed skinny :D why cause I didnt care, if they like me for who I am then kudos to them, if they dont then their tough loss, and everyone who has meet me has always liked my personality I dont judge unlike ppl did to me in high school...and now they come crawling back to me ....

We have a kid in our school who wears girls pants.

Yeah, I'm just so sick of the whole crew cut, AF/AE/Lacoste, white shoes, ego centric idiots.

Hey man, hang in there! Every dog has his day. I'm a 17 year old high school Senior and am just starting to have some luck. I just got a very cute girl to go to the Prom with me. Don't be scared to ask. You may be surprised by the answer. Persistence is key. Never give up no matter how many times you get rejected. If a girl says no, she wasn't worth asking in the first place. Keep trying and hold your head up. Always remember, that the best is yet to come. Good luck!

I never thought I was going to find the right girl, but I graduated high school early and went right into college. My first day in class, I saw this one girl that just really attracted me, and I still love seeing her everyday. We will be celebrating our one year on March 29, so I can't wait. Being a sophomore in college now, I can tell you that you don't need to worry about the girls in high school. Melissa (my girlfriend) is almost two years older than me. I personally like that she's older because she knew what she wanted in a relationship, was a lot more mature than anyone I had known, and knew what she wanted to do with her life.

Now, I'm only 18 (19 in just over a month) so I know how you feel...well, I did know how you feel, before before I met Melissa.

So, give it time, don't look for it as love will come at the most unexpected time. Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes.

Good luck with your dating, guys. I remember my dating days as a bizarre combination of awkward and exhilirating. Enjoy them while you're there, and you'll be ready to settle down when you find the right woman.

J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye:

That's the thing about girls. Every time they do something pretty, even if they're not much to look at, or even if they're sort of stupid, you fall half in love with them, and then you never know where the hell you are.
So true.

 Cute quote. I read that book a long time ago, so I barely remember it.
