The Figgy family road trip! Or how to go without sleep

Spoiler alert, free stuff and soft openings are fun. Ok, here we go! Things started off differently than planned to say the least. A small tropical system was heading up 95N so we went west and took 81S into South Carolina before we saw any sun. This added somewhere between 2 and 3 hours to our trip but it was worth it as we kept hearing 95 wasn't the road to be on that day! From 81 we headed across 77 and found something that made me think about our dear @real mad hatter:eek: I think I might just have found his second favorite place in the states! Frugal Mc Dougal's discount beverage center, the place had a sign with a goofy looking guy with a kilt on it:eek: The rest of the trip to Georgia was quiet and we spent the night at the Super 8 in Brunswick. It was clean quiet and cheap. We got a good 8 hours sleep and we would need it as the rest of the trip we never seemed to get much:D

ok so our first MK ride the monorail, we got the one with the Iron man wrap! That made the boys happy! Getting there early was great because the fab 5 were doing publicity pics and waving at everybody and the train went around twice! A nice start to a great if not perfect day! We didn't get a good view of the opening ceremony because we were right up at the rope on a mission to be right up front of the line for Story Time with Belle. If you haven't done it you must put it on your to do list NOW!!!!!! I'm still trying to figure out how the did all the magic there! If you know don't tell me I still think it was magic and pixie dust, couldn't have been done any other way! From there it was over to meet Ariel ( have a great blackmail pic of James and her) She couldn't have been sweeter. Then over to check out her new ride! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! Then we went over to check out the rest of the FLE. The tent was ok but...... It was missing something. From there it was over to meet Merida! She rocked!!!! She let out a little giggle when I told her I had a friend named Hatter from her side of the pond. Lunch time, nothing like the cheesy stylings of Sunny Eclipse to bring a smile to your face, his act never gets old!!!!!!!! Now having to walk off lunch we headed down Main Street to shop when the skies let out buckets of wet Florida sunshine. Watching the crowds run out of the park we did the only reasonable thing, we went to Tomorrowland , where the puddles were half way up my legs:eek: In order to try and not get too wet we went on COP, and Wed-Way, Buzz and Stitch (James loves Stitch) Then SM before dinner at BOG, our new favorite place. James and got the ratatouille, Michael and Jim got the chicken. For desert James and I got the sugar free berry sorbet, Michael got the chocolate thing and Jim got the dragonfruit pastry item. oops I forget we did try the kronenborg,sp? This was Jame's birthday dinner a few weeks early but they sent over a card signed by Belle. Everything was excellent and our waiter Craig went above and beyond!!!!!!!!! Time for some more fun so over to Liberty square ad a ride on HM. Then through Adventure land for a visit with the Tiki birds and a ride on POTC. Made it over to Main Street for ELP and wishes before heading off to sleep for a short while.
