The Figgy family road trip! Or how to go without sleep

Spoiler alert, free stuff and soft openings are fun. Ok, here we go! Things started off differently than planned to say the least. A small tropical system was heading up 95N so we went west and took 81S into South Carolina before we saw any sun. This added somewhere between 2 and 3 hours to our trip but it was worth it as we kept hearing 95 wasn't the road to be on that day! From 81 we headed across 77 and found something that made me think about our dear @real mad hatter:eek: I think I might just have found his second favorite place in the states! Frugal Mc Dougal's discount beverage center, the place had a sign with a goofy looking guy with a kilt on it:eek: The rest of the trip to Georgia was quiet and we spent the night at the Super 8 in Brunswick. It was clean quiet and cheap. We got a good 8 hours sleep and we would need it as the rest of the trip we never seemed to get much:D

Now it was time to get some autographs with James! We got Goofy Vader and Storm trooper Donald, Darth Vader and Darth Maul before the parade. And being SWW we had to get a ride on ST (the pod race is awesome). Time for my FP for Mr. Mayhew he was quite nice but is showing his age. Time for lunch I a got veggie burger, Michael got the fried fish , James got a burger, and Jim got the Asian salad with chicken. I was surprised as it was all quite good!! On to more SWW activities. Time for Jim and James to meet Bill d Williams (his signing was moved inside because of fear of rain) The cantina band was amusing. Chip and Dale's line was just too long so we grabbed a pic and left. Back to ride ST again. Then we headed over to Darth's Mall. Yea shopping!!!!!!!!!! Jim's getting a Salacius Crumb for Christmas! SHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And James got to meet Luke and Leia. Then Michael got to meet Ashley Eckstein and her mouse ears! She is the nicest of people and really likes her fans. This was not the day for rides, but the boys just had to ride TSM. Lets just say the adults did much better than the kiddies. About now the tummy's were getting rumbly so off to Rosie's All American for burgers and fries, veggie for me. Time for the dark side beverage and it was quite tasty. After refueling we got a sop for the Hyper Space Hoopla! It was good watching it on line here, but 100 times better in person. After it was over the crowd rushing out was insane so we crazies headed over to RNRC and then we rode TOT. Never went on it after dark before (one thing off the bucket list) Leaving between the Hoopla and Fantasmic crowds was awesome because there was no crowd!!!!!!!!!! Off to grab some (very little sleep)
