The Figgy family road trip! Or how to go without sleep

Spoiler alert, free stuff and soft openings are fun. Ok, here we go! Things started off differently than planned to say the least. A small tropical system was heading up 95N so we went west and took 81S into South Carolina before we saw any sun. This added somewhere between 2 and 3 hours to our trip but it was worth it as we kept hearing 95 wasn't the road to be on that day! From 81 we headed across 77 and found something that made me think about our dear @real mad hatter:eek: I think I might just have found his second favorite place in the states! Frugal Mc Dougal's discount beverage center, the place had a sign with a goofy looking guy with a kilt on it:eek: The rest of the trip to Georgia was quiet and we spent the night at the Super 8 in Brunswick. It was clean quiet and cheap. We got a good 8 hours sleep and we would need it as the rest of the trip we never seemed to get much:D

Park day 5 EPCOT. Another happy day being the first at the turnstiles! So at rope drop we rode SSE, Ellen's Energy, Mission Space Orange followed by TT. Three times on the ride and I still haven't gotten to design a car!:eek: What we won't do for our kids:) Any way then it was over to the Land for another trip on Soarin then lunch at SS. I got the not chicken orange chicken, it was ok but could have used more veggies. Jimmy and Michael got the rotisserie chicken and Jim got the turkey Panini! All in all we left there quite happy and full so time for a slow boat ride trough the land and we watched the film with Timon and Pumba. From there another visit with Figment and over to WS to do the UK Agent P adventure. This turned into a busy afternoon for James as we saw Pooh and Tigger, The UK street players we tried to see the hat lady but she was out that day , I grabbed a Leaping Leprechaun and Jim had part of a black and tan. James stopped at all the kidcots to get his Perry stamped. Some how we managed to grab a bite in the American pavilion. The boys grabbed burgers and I had a very yummy blackbean burger. While doing all the running I also was a bit of a bad girl I grabbed a glass of wine in Germany a nice desert red, a Grey Goose slushie from France and when we hit the last kid cot James got a magical moments card in Morrocco. The funny thing is one of the guys from Tangerine Café recognized us from the other day and seeing it was the end of the day we should stop over there as he also had a surprise for us! He remembered James telling him how much he liked the food there so he gave him a couple of falafel and poured me a nice size glass of sangria, saying I must need it after doing that much walking all day. (no charge) If he only knew LOL. From there we headed over to Norway where Jim and Michael grabbed a nice spot to watch Illuminations with their school bread and Jim grabbed a beer to split.

ps while in Mexico we rode with the crazy ducks and I stopped in at La Cava and raised a glass for @real mad hatter

o_O So after surviving EPCOT we got up early and hit rope drop at HS! Have I mentioned how much I love rope drop and being at the front of the line for them? LOL Time for some M&G! We were first on line for Lightning Mc Queen and Mater! Then over to see Phineas and Ferb (James favorite kid show). They were also awesome James was first in line and Phineas came over to drop the rope! With his red hair and he and Phineas were wearing matching outfits, how could he not! Then we went to see the Muppets I love that show, it never seems to get old:) While in the area I stopped in at the store by there and finally got a 2013 mug. Then over to Star Tours and a quick sprint to see to see the LMA stunt show. The Cars additions really made it fresh! Another quick sprint over to see the Indiana Jones show! Had to talk the boys out of getting leather hats and whips:eek: Although after lunch I wish I had a whip to use on @mrdisman. The boys decided they wanted to go to Sci-Fi! Well NEVER EVER again!!!! The chef didn't seem to know what was in some of the food and with allergies that can be really bad! Well when the food finally came out Jame's plate came out with something he's allergic to on it and everybody else's was cold so back it went. Try 2 at least James could eat his lunch but the rest of the food was cold so back it went again!:eek: Try 3 wasn't much better and the blue moon that finally came out with it was warm:eek:. After we left a CM must have noticed the look on my face because she asked is everything ok, so I told her what happened and said don't worry 1 bad meal isn't going to ruin my trip or change my opinion of Disney. Long story shorter I sent the boys back on ST while she insisted on taking me over to Guest Services! They were so nice. Some big shot from dining came over and offered to comp us a meal at sci-fi during our trip. I said thanks but not this time, so she gave me a voucher for 4 cs meals of our choosing at any place in HS! Hollywood and vine was also offered but you know the rest! LOL Disney customer service is the best!!!!!!! So in a much happier mood we headed over to One Man's dream. Just walking in the door there would have made me happy but having vouchers was good too! Then we headed over to catch BATB! It's so good I didn't even notice the heat. Now onto the Great Move Ride (first row) BTW thanks for the picture in my head @Pooh Lover I can never look at Dorothy without laughing ever again. Thanks to that we went to the Jack Sparrow exhibit/show it was really funny! Time to go see Ariel and some more AC. It's the cutest show! My boys are nuts they dragged me on RNRC and TOT. We headed out for a late supper at Applebee's. Still trying to get a picture out of my head I ordered a strawberry mojito and to my delight the waiter showed up with 2 saying it was buy one get one free night! It was an early night in bed by 11

They do have a way of always making things right Disney Customer Service is nothing short of outstanding!!!

awwh...sorry Figgy...that never happened to me...but at least you got a comped meal!
