The Figgy family road trip! Or how to go without sleep

Spoiler alert, free stuff and soft openings are fun. Ok, here we go! Things started off differently than planned to say the least. A small tropical system was heading up 95N so we went west and took 81S into South Carolina before we saw any sun. This added somewhere between 2 and 3 hours to our trip but it was worth it as we kept hearing 95 wasn't the road to be on that day! From 81 we headed across 77 and found something that made me think about our dear @real mad hatter:eek: I think I might just have found his second favorite place in the states! Frugal Mc Dougal's discount beverage center, the place had a sign with a goofy looking guy with a kilt on it:eek: The rest of the trip to Georgia was quiet and we spent the night at the Super 8 in Brunswick. It was clean quiet and cheap. We got a good 8 hours sleep and we would need it as the rest of the trip we never seemed to get much:D

Park day 2 EPCOT! With a shocker or 2:D We were so excited to get there we were all up by 5:30. So off to rope drop we went. First in line is always fun! And over to TT we went, the boys like the new version better and I like both versions equally. Designing the car was cool. And of course they had to do the new activities. Then over to MS orange of course! After that it was into Mouse Gear for some AC and window shopping before Soarin and a visit with Figment. I found a new Figment mug and pin. I hope I'm getting them for Christmas, LOL James had to see Captain EO (he likes the 3D movies) Onward to WS and our first Agent P mission, France! Now on over to Chefs de France for lunch with Remy. Lunch was ok. Nothing spectacular but Remy and his handler were excellent as always! Our waiter Vincent was fabulous. A big cheers to him!!!! After lunch we too the friendship boat back to future world, that's as close to a break as we get with the boys:eek: Time to take it easy so a nice slow ride on the boat in the Land and another trip n Soarin were in order. Then over to the seas, I love Turtle Talk. From the seas we went into Innoventions. So much for taking it easy, the boys just had to design a coaster at Sum of All thrills. The Green House exhibit was really interesting. It was mice to see some of my appliances there:D. Once again feeding the walking army we headed over to Tangerine Café! We split a veggie platter, swarma platter and a slider platter. We walked around WS for a while and stopped in France and was disappointed to find out the sorbet contained milk. Oh well James grabbed a frozen strawberry bar from a cart and Jim and Michael grabbed a few goodies from Les Haillles and a bagette for the next days breakfast. I grabbed a slushie from the cart. Not my usual but the new pink one with cranberry and a hint of orange. It was nice but not my lemon one! It was getting late so we headed back to TT never rode it after dark before so had to get that off my bucket list! Sorry no pics for a while the only ones downloaded were from before vacation except for the welcome to FL ones and Jim took the rest to work with him! He's getting beets for dinner!:D
