The Figgy family road trip! Or how to go without sleep

Spoiler alert, free stuff and soft openings are fun. Ok, here we go! Things started off differently than planned to say the least. A small tropical system was heading up 95N so we went west and took 81S into South Carolina before we saw any sun. This added somewhere between 2 and 3 hours to our trip but it was worth it as we kept hearing 95 wasn't the road to be on that day! From 81 we headed across 77 and found something that made me think about our dear @real mad hatter:eek: I think I might just have found his second favorite place in the states! Frugal Mc Dougal's discount beverage center, the place had a sign with a goofy looking guy with a kilt on it:eek: The rest of the trip to Georgia was quiet and we spent the night at the Super 8 in Brunswick. It was clean quiet and cheap. We got a good 8 hours sleep and we would need it as the rest of the trip we never seemed to get much:D

ok here goes park day 4 MK! A most magical of days for many reasons! NO rain! But that wasn't even close to being the best part! Another rope drop day and being first through the turnstiles is fun! This time we stayed back a bit and watched the opening ceremony. Excellent as always! A must do at least once each trip. Go into the magic we went and visited with the princesses, lots of hugging going on there!:) Now onto the boys crazy running around. First over to Buzz, we beat the boys again! Then over to Laugh Floor and the 3 mountains SM, Splash love the refurb everything was working great and BTMRR. Then over for some pirate time, we did a pirate adventure and rode POTC. So in keeping with the pirate theme the boys all got taco salads from Tortuga Tavern and I ducked into Pecos Bill's for a veggie burger loaded with lettuce and tomatoes. After lunch we did another pirate adventure and visited with the fairies. It was only about a half hour wait and in AC! YEA!!!! Can't say enough good things about the fairies they spent quite a bit of time with the children and the space was amazing. On over to one of the most magical things that can happen in the world while I was getting a Christmas ornament for Jim, who's price tag was wrong, their mistake so I got it for the lower price @MouseDreaming came and found me and she was followed by @Pooh'sBuddy. I wish we could have spent more time together, but sadly time is too limited in the world. They are both such wonderful people!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you @MR FERRET for the great spot to meet and watch the parade. I wish I could have slowed the boys down to meet them but they were off and running for another spin on the tea cups and SM:eek: After the parade it was over to Philharmagic to meet up with the boys (have I mentioned James loves 3D movies) LOL It was hot so we hopped over to the Poly. Any excuse to ride the monorail:D And stopped in at Tamu Tamu. Jim had a beer and I raised a Lapu Lapu or 2 to @DisneyDebNJ. ok it was 2:D I was then lucky enough to run into @Pooh'sBuddy again on my way out Then back on the monorail I tried to get Jim to stop at the GF and he said he was siding with @real mad hatter as he doesn't like the hoity or the toity!!!!!!!!!!!!! Something about it just looking to snooty for him. So straight back to MK and a little shopping on Main Street before heading to the Plaza for dinner. I got a very yummy veggie sandwich, James got a burger, Jim got the club sandwich and Micheal got the ruben . We all left quite happy. On over to the Hall of Presidents and HM. Then back to Main Street for some ice cream and a sorbet for me. Then we settled in to watch ELP and wishes. There seemed to be a problem with the monorail so we took a bus back to the TTC. It was a most magical day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Park day 5 EPCOT. Another happy day being the first at the turnstiles! So at rope drop we rode SSE, Ellen's Energy, Mission Space Orange followed by TT. Three times on the ride and I still haven't gotten to design a car! What we won't do for our kids:) Any way then it was over to the Land for another trip on Soarin then lunch at SS. I got the not chicken orange chicken, it was ok but could have used more veggies. Jimmy and Michael got the rotisserie chicken and Jim got the turkey Panini! All in all we left there quite happy and full so time for a slow boat ride trough the land and we watched the film with Timon and Pumba. From there another visit with Figment and over to WS to do the UK Agent P adventure. This turned into a busy afternoon for James as we saw Pooh and Tigger, The UK street players we tried to see the hat lady but she was out that day , I grabbed a Leaping Leprechaun and Jim had part of a black and tan. James stopped at all the kidcots to get his Perry stamped. Some how we managed to grab a bite in the American pavilion. The boys grabbed burgers and I had a very yummy blackbean burger. While doing all the running I also was a bit of a bad girl I grabbed a glass of wine in Germany a nice desert red, a Grey Goose slushie from France and when we hit the last kid cot James got a magical moments card in Morrocco. The funny thing is one of the guys from Tangerine Café recognized us from the other day and seeing it was the end of the day we should stop over there as he also had a surprise for us! He remembered James telling him how much he liked the food there so he gave him a couple of falafel and poured me a nice size glass of sangria, saying I must need it after doing that much walking all day. (no charge) If he only knew LOL. From there we headed over to Norway where Jim and Michael grabbed a nice spot to watch Illuminations with their school bread and Jim grabbed a beer to split.
