Rumor The EPCOT Hotel

Others on the forum know more than me about how construction may work around the area, but I see two potential areas simply looking at the satellite maps. One area I see is the area next to the bus parking and just above the Beach Club, the other spot is the space way behind Mission Space and above the cast parking lot. Those could avoid messing too much with parking and still keep sight lines open for anyone entering the park. Though the second area would probably require tearing down some of the cast buildings and offices.

I agree with you. They could be building attractions in EoE and WOL at the sane time and relaunch that part of the park. We rode Mission Mars and couldn't believe how quiet it was over in that area.

Yes the only thing you can hear is the faint Test Track attraction in the distance. That area around there would be a perfect place for a hotel.

Are you meaning in the park? Hotels should be outside the park, not inside imo.

That area is sort of where the new space themed restaurant is going I think, so there will be construction there very soon. Look out for the cranes......... and a ladder!

As a former Epcot cast member who has worked almost all the front line positions in the park, I think a hotel "inside" the park is a particularly BAD idea. Especially considering all the maintenence noise that takes place after hours. Not to mention the security issues.
Well, they've done it before.
Disneyland Paris Hotel, Grand Californian and Miracosta.

So I'm sure they figured those issues out already.
They all have one side facing the inside of the park and one facing the outside

Which is what I imagine their proposals for Epcot are (if not completely outside the park)

This isn't a new concept to Disney, the Grand Californian overlooks California Adventure and a host of the international hotels all have rooms overlooking the park - there is noise but no more so than a room overlooking any city street. Security also isn't an issue.

Imagine the fun on the boards if it turns out to be a guardians/Frozen mashup hotel? Better yet, a frozen short before you can check into your room.....
Frozen ever after finally classed World Showcase up. It will be Frozen and Star Wars 2018 On. Can’t wait for the new Frozen movie. Maybe the new EPCOT hotel will be Frozen. Kids would finally want to come to the park instead of the parents dragging them in. “Mommy and Daddy need a drink to forget
