It also bodes poorly for the quality of the movie.
Mainstream Chinese audiences have bafflingly awful taste in movies, and flock to shlock like Transformers, Venom, and Warcraft.
They did really dig Coco, though.

From what I’ve read, big action movies with little dialogue do really well in China.
Aquaman was great!! I recommend.
Though, part of it is how much I enjoy Jason Mamoa's body of work.

I felt like I was in an episode of Mystery Science Theater.
My apologies to the two other people who were also in the theater, but if they didn’t want to hear three women quietly roasting the movie, they shouldn’t have chosen the seats literally right behind us (again, completely empty theater).
I don’t have time to roast it all here, but the wigs were awfullllll.

I just read that James Gunn is reportedly in talks to direct Suicide Squad 2. I’m confused because I thought this was confirmed 2 months ago or so.
