Oh my, that's unpleasant, right before Christmas!!! I just hope it all gets fixed quickly, so that you can still enjoy the holidays.

Not good but what we did sometimes pre covid, if a contractor was working in our home around the meal time hour we offered him a nice home cooked meal. It is amazing what offering can do. The worker is happy and you could even get a little discount off your total bill.

Today is a cleaning day, wish it was a cookie making day but my dh is going to fix my space heater. It's just a loose cord besides the living room needs a good going through
