Mom was eating pineapple today, heard me coming downstairs, and put a lid on it and shoved it in the fridge before I could get anywhere near it. No more Benadryl for this girl.

I'm extremely allergic to pineapple. A few weeks ago I walked into the room, she was eating it (she only buys precut if she wants it), I got a whiff of it, and I needed Benadryl.
Yes, it's a strange food allergy, no, it's not my only food allergy, but yes, it is the worst of them.

So it is a very good thing she hid it away. I don’t have food allergies, but I do I many allergies to pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, guinea pigs just to name a few. Not sure if I am highly allergic to ferrets though.I'm extremely allergic to pineapple. I was at my salon earlier.. finally!!!!.. and my stylist told me that our local swim club is doing a 50% off of the initial bond, this week only. I consider this every year, and then decide we don’t have the time.. but, maybe now that Kings Island (as in Soak City) isn’t going to be readily available, it might be the year to do it.
I always justify it by Soak City being so close, therefore no point in joining a club. We don’t have that option now.
I have to think about this one.

I was just at the salon yesterday. And I'll likely go back and visit again on Friday, maybe next Monday, too. Granted my salon is just a set of clippers and a trash can and the appointment generally takes 5 minutes before my shower, but...

Grilled Cheese, BLT, and Cheese Steak.
One of my good friends taught Spanish for almost 40 years and had a pony tail the entire time. My wife puts her hair back in a pony tail about half the time (teaches English and Drama). My ponytail did not survive college. Soon as I was student teaching, I determined that the amount of time it took to deal with long hair was not conducive to the high school band director lifestyle. A few years after that, it became impossible to even attempt to replicate any hair 'style.'
Here's a shot from the last time any of my hair was less than half an inch. 2013 at the Tower of Terror 10 miler weekend.
And, I grew it out for something very special...
That's an alarming amount of hair and head dye... and also the last time I didn't have a beard.
Hmmm... just those choices... I'd likely go with felafel pita or maybe veggies and hummus. I do like a good grilled cheese, though. I don't tend to do sandwiches with meat very much - just not a luncheon meat fan at all and b/c of health issues I haven't done any red meat in over 30 years. I do like a fried chicken sandwich every once in a while, but don't think I'd list it as a favorite.
