So did anyone see that "live" show last night on the Little Mermaid? I fell asleep and missed the entire show!! :banghead: Dang this pesky cold -- it's worn me out.
{{HUGS}} I missed it but will watch it later tonight because dh and I spent the night in the boys bathroom. Get your head out of the gutter @Mr Ferret 88! The pipes that connect to the tub and shower were never replaced so finishing up is our project for today. Are you feeling any better today?

I watched the last 15 minutes... I wasn't impressed. I heard on the radio this morning that Queen Latifah did an amazing job. I do generally like her.

Yah, I read a few comments on Google this morning and it seems that Queen Latifah was definitely # 1 in that show, but there was some consensus that there were other (various) problems with the broadcast.

Yah, each day I get better. This morning has been the best so far. I'm hoping to get in maybe a 30-minute walk today at a slower pace. Yesterday, I was slightly fatigued, even just walking the 10 minutes to the voting polls.

I can still fit in a New Year’s dress from ‘94. That is my oldest article of clothing. Kept it for sentimental reasons since it was dh’s (back then bf) and my first New Year’s Eve together.
That is impressive. I tried my dress military uniform on not to long a go it's been hanging in the attic for years 1972 . I could not get the pants on the the jacket I was about 3" from buttoning it. This can't be right who was this person--how did I get his uniform.

I've thought of getting an e-reader, but I would miss the feel of the book, the smell of the paper...and I read a lot in the bath, so I'd be afraid to take an electronic device in water. The idea of having a whole bunch of books in a lightweight device is tempting, but I'm not altogether sold.
The Kindle Paperwhite is water resistant. I took mine in the pool and it was fine.

I have had kindles for years. I have a Fire 10 right now. It’s a little heavier. I can stream movies on it. It’s so easy to travel with, and I never run out of books to read. I do still buy hardback books on sale since I do love to collect books.
My DH has a paper white. It’s water resistant I think. He really likes the feel and small size. You might like to begin with this one. Much lighter than mine.

I thought that way for years, as well, about how I preferred the paper, but it turns out its completely situational. eReaders are phenomenal for travel and baths and poolside reading. If I'm at home in my reading chair, I prefer paper books.

Honestly when it comes to water, I feel safer with the Kindle because it's water resistant. Drop your paper book in the bath and game over. Also most eReaders have touch points you can swipe to turn pages, so it's kinetically more like a paper book too.

Does anybody remember the store Ames? Today I wore a sweater that's pre James from there, I miss that place
It's a bit loose on me now, runs and hides under large rock
I remember Ames. Right now I must ease into the fact that I am impressed. If I had an article of clothing from just before Ames closed, it would be about 15 sizes to small now.
