Keep in mind, my mom had it removed back in the 1980s. How things were done medically were different in that era. The other thing was the specialist at first thirst my mom had thyroid cancer.

There are different thyroid problems out there. I have been taking thyroid medication since the 2000s, but it is not Hashimotos. My mom was not the only one with a thyroid problem. My dad takes thyroid medication for years although it is not Hashimoto's.

The nature of my thyroid problem symptom showed in two ways. I had chest pain and some of test readings were off due to my thyroid giving off a false reading. I had it checked by a doctor. I was concern with chest pain because at the time, I had relatives on both sides of the family that had heart problems without any idea that chest pain can be a sign of thyroid problems.
Yup, all true. Which I already knew because I have no thyroid. I previously had underactive thyroid, not Hashimoto's.

My mom has underactive thyroid, my dad has Hashimoto's, my cousin have overactive thyroid (she has no thyroid now.). And there's me, thyroid less after having it removed this year.

We are on the dining plan this trip. Only once a year for our long trip. Out of pocket cause the $$$ are better for room discounts. Deluxe at moderate price. DON’T pay rack rate Moto.

So today $825 in discounted gift cards purchased 30 in all. Will consolidate before we depart. For the other meals and stuff. Love paying off prior to trip.

Note. If you purchase at Sams Club the discounts have changed. You can purchase in $50 $75 $150 and $500 incriminates. At the moment the $75 yields the highest discounts.
Do the math! :)

Plus using Disney Chase rewards give back program

I loved the sliders, one was beef and the other duck. The duck was my favorite of the two but I think it is just beef now on the menu. I hope you can go, it is a fun place to people watch and drink margarita flight.

Margarita Flight???? Oh My! :inlove: I hope one evening it is cool enough for us to try. Loving your reviews over several trips, other wise it might have to wait until October or December.
Our December and January trips the last few years have been freakishly COLD. :cold:

Appreciate the pointers. :geek:

Do they let you use the pool all day on checkout day? Like if we rope dropped a park, could we come back to the resort after lunch and swim? I feel like i remember reading that somewhere...

Especially when my kids were little we did pool days on the day of checkout. As they aged they wanted every last minute in the parks. When they were young we hung at the pool mostly though sometimes we did the parks in the morning. We just didn't want to wear them out before a long travel home when they were little, avoided meltdowns for everyone.

My second art lesson is this morning. I wonder what art disaster I'll create today? :joyfull:

Giggle. :)

Me I can paint but I cannot draw. I've painted murals but could not draw the same. I can say the murals are of my own creativity but they are not. I can look at a painting and duplicate. Originality not so much.

What type of artform are you learning?

Pics, please...!!! ;):)

No pics until my art actually looks like art! :p Yesterday morning's session went a bit better -- no faces! ;) We worked a bit on scenics. The main takeaway was that a mistake many newbies to art make, is that they place their drawing right in the middle of the paper. That's a no-no. He showed us a grid of how better perspective can be had when placing the picture at different locations on the page.

We also worked on spheres and how they can be used for many purposes like shaded apples (depending upon the direction of the light hitting them), or repurposed to create balloons. That was fun. :)

Got a little over a 30 minute nap when my kitty Louix decided to start scratch (no claws) at my bedroom door. Man! A girl can’t get any rest! The dryer buzzer was going off, so I think he felt I had to get up and take care of it right away!

That's hilarious. :joyfull: Reminds me a little of my dog -- he has a mental breakdown when the timer goes off on the microwave oven! He hates the microwave, and comes flying over to me or hubs to make it stop! :hilarious:

Happy farm market Saturday:joyfull:

Speaking of shopping, this weekend (in MA only) is a tax free shopping weekend. Of course, the one weekend we don't have to pay the 6.25% sales tax, there's nothing we need. So, I'll just get a few bags of Jack's dog food to save a few dollars. (Yup, in my state, they tax dog food. :banghead: ) Note: No tax on people food, unless it's a luxury item like Godiva chocolates, for example.

We had so much fun tonight at A's school carnival, but I cried pretty hard when we pulled out of the parking lot. This was A's last day at this school. She will now go to a new school closer to our new house. These teachers have been like family to us for the last three years, and A's school friends have been her constant companions. So happy we moved and i love the new area, but this was a very sad goodbye for us.
First off, I love the pictures. A looks beautiful! Second, I get your sentimentality of leaving the old school. I got that when my oldest graduated from her Kindergarten which was her daycare/preschool. You get to know the teachers at these small schools and they become a part of your life. I hope that A has a wonderful experience with her new school.
