We made it to VA Beach. Went to Jamestown first so the kids could get a school day in. Will post pictures tomorrow. I need to go to sleep.

So different than the old (now closed) Disney Store I used to be CM at.
Probably more straightforward/refind, and more efficient to many, but, I miss the whimsy of our old “Pink and Green” Store...

Thanks. We’ll know for next year. We got in later than expected last night so we had to go with something fairly close. The south Harrington location is about 30 minutes from our st Charles hotel

Yep, it just seems to largely conform to the retail interior design models of so many others these days, instead of them setting themselves apart like they used to.
I get the “over-the-top” Disney theming of the old Stores, but, wasn’t that the point?!
I LOVED working in that Store...walking out into the rest of the mall when going to get food, leaving work, closing the Store was just a letdown...we were all so attached to it. Many others applied as CMs there and were never accepted. It was an honor, although, in operational terms anyway, many times more of a PITA than most retail because of the Guest expectations (and not unreasonable, because Disney set the bar all those years ago
). It was a pleasure to share the Magic with all, but, there were times...I’ve always thought I should write a book. Although, I would never want to work for Disney again, it was a major, Magical, learning experience that I have many fond memories of, and I will always be proud of what I contributed to the Disney Magic for all I could...!!!!!!!!!!!

Weird....they are side by side on my screen. But, now I want both plates, please! I love tostadas....I couldn't see it under the salad. I like lettuce, but I'd have to take the tomato and cheese off. The rest looks awesome!!!Top is a taco and burrito. Bottom is taco and tostada. They were both good.
