She was angry because the teacher took her phone and Ruined her Snapchat Photo

There is such a lack of respect for authority figures from many kids today. As @Cesar R M said, an entitled brat. She should have her phone confiscated by her parents, but seeing how she behaved, I doubt that will happen. A sad commentary of our times.

Stuff like that never happened when I was in school. I hope the kid gets suspended or kicked out of school.
Oh, and community service.

IDK what the penalty is in @IamGroot! 's school system, but in our country, getting violent against a teacher was grounds for expulsion. I sadly remember it happening a few times in middle school. And once in elementary school; we were all completely stunned because no one acts out at that elementary school. I'm sure it did happen when I was in high school; I was just in all honors/AP classes by that time, so of course the kids in my classes weren't the ones causing trouble.

There's a new girl sitting behind me at work, who's been here for maybe a month, and she's wearing this black dress with spaghetti straps and no back to work. I'm seriously struggling with 1. How on Earth she thinks that's an appropriate work outfit, and 2. How she's not cold; I'm freezing.

Against our dress code. Sadly. Wish it weren't; it was hot this summer ...

They just started letting us wear jeans to work this year; I hope no one ruins it for those of us dressed appropriately.
